A wasted opportunity. Has one of the best locations for a coffee shop in beckenham/ penge but unfortunately a lack of investment in the facilities, equipment, food and highly irregular opening hours means it’s an overall very poor experience. With a takeover and new investment has enormous potential to be a great local coffee shop. Such a shame!

I had a very disappointing experience here. I am a support worker and was with three clients who have learning disabilities. When we arrived, the staff member asked if we wanted cold drinks since the coffee machine was broken. I kindly declined as I was working and we were just stopping briefly on our way back from a trip. As the station had no toilets available, I politely asked if one of my clients could use their toilet. The staff member refused and quickly said she was β€œclosing” β€” despite the fact that, just moments earlier, she was willing to serve us cold drinks. This felt very dismissive and unhelpful, especially given that I was supporting vulnerable people who needed access to basic facilities. I understand businesses have policies, but the lack of compassion and consistency was upsetting. A little understanding would have made a huge difference.

The BEST Aperol spritz I've ever had outside Venice. Luke knows his stuff! Making it with pink soda rather than plain soda or sparkling water pushes it to another level. Brill. Recommended. And faultless service too. When you get off the train, stop for 10min and get a drink or a coffee. You won't regret it. And you won't want to leave.

A proper 10/10 place here. I came with my friends and dog and the service was incredible - very kind - and may I say super homemade cakes! We highly recommend it!

Good coffee and cake but best of all helped with our bikes up the station steps . So grateful to the coffee guy for that ☺️

Nice place with friendly staff and pleasant outdoor space next to the station. Unfortunately, the coffee just isn't very nice or sufficiently strong tasting. I've had several different styles and it is invariably a bit disappointing.

Summer or winter this is a really atmospheric coffee house. Perfect to pop in for a delicious coffee & friendly welcome on your way to the station, or to sit outside & enjoy the ambiance

Quiet cafe in posh Penge just by the station. Good friendly service with a vegan cake. And you can by flowers too.
