I always go here but I’m very disgusted in the behaviour this morning by the man on morning shift. I told the man I was served regular milk when I asked for an oat milk latte. Once I realised later in my car going to work I had to bin the coffee. I called up three times to notify them and no body answered the call. This morning I came and told him this and said I’m lactose intolerant and that’s it’s not acceptable and he’s response was ‘no problem’ and just put the card machine in front of me. As a regular I felt very offended by hes reaction to this problem and felt it should have been dealt with properly.

On 18/11/2025, I visited the coffee shop at around 10:25am for the first time with a friend as a paying customer. As we were about to leave at 11:00am, I asked the staff if I can use the customer toilet which was clearly labelled “Customer toilet”. I was informed that someone is in there that I should wait at the door. I waited at the door as the signed showed red and engaged. After a while , one of the female staff came out and I entered and double locked the toilet door. It has the upper and lower lock. While I was still using the toilet, I heard someone trying to open the door from outside and I thought to myself that they can’t open it since I double locked it. Next thing I heard was a bang and boom the toilet was open while I was shouting “ someone is here”. It’s one member of staff that pushed the door open while I was using the toilet and she immediately left the door open and left. I had to quickly get up to shut the door as people were passing and looking; exposing me to the public area of the shop. This was distressing, a serious breach of privacy, and suggests that the business is not ensuring appropriate standards for customer welfare or the safe and private use of facilities. When I came out, I respectfully asked the lady that opened the door why she did that and left the door open. She started looking at me like I’m talking crazy. Next thing she started laughing and whispering to her colleagues and then they said it’s my fault that I didn’t lock the door which is a lie. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s absolutely inappropriate. She didn’t even apologise. I asked for their names and they refused to answer me, and said they are not allowed to say their names. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said there’s no supervisor. They all were just blaming me for what happened and no one could apologise. The incident raises concerns regarding: • Lack of adequate privacy measures • Potential failure to maintain a safe and appropriate environment for customers • Staff training and supervision regarding customer facilities I would appreciate it if whoever owns this business to please into this. I will also contact Housing & Safer Communities Floor 4, The Woolwich Centre 35 Wellington Street London SE18 6HQ to report what WOOLWICH COFFEE LOUNGE & SEI8 PIZZA EQUITABLE HOUSE 29 GREEN'S END (corner of GENERAL GORDON PLACE) WOOLWICH LONDON SEI8 6JY did to me today. Thank you!

Such a lovely surprise to stumble across this lovely coffee shop that also serves Roman pizza. The pizza was delicious, and their coffee frappuccino was perfect for me, no sugar, no artificial syrups. The place is warm and cosy, and it’s right in the heart of Woolwich. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Been here a few times for sitting in and takeaways, it's a really lovely spot. The coffee is very nice and the cakes are really good quality - sometimes in other places cakes look good but then taste of nothing but sugar, not here though, they're really moist and flavourful, seem home baked. Nice selection of pastries and sandwiches, and their pizzas have a lovely thin base (although twice I've ordered with an additional topping, which I was charged for, and then wasn't on the pizza - so maybe just stick with the set menu!). Everything they offer there is of a very good quality, much nicer than the big chains etc.

Really lovely little cafe we found by accident looking for somewhere to eat breakfast! The service was easy and friendly, fresh tasty pastry and tea! Would definitely recommend eating here.

I like this place because all members of staff are super friendly and it never takes too long to get coffee. But it got a bit too expensive for what they offer. Coffee sometimes has strange taste, milk is often a bit off, and i don’t think they steam milk right way. Pastries are often very dry and old. I only go there because its on my way to train station and often I don’t have time to return to let them know that there is something wrong with coffee or milk they use? I never see them to rinse a milk jug and they just reuse milk at the bottom and reheat it for next coffee. Interior looks quite depressing and furniture is badly old and unkept. Place looks clean Also they never offer you a stamp card, unless you ask for it, even when they know you and you go there almost every day

Some staff could do with hospitality, particularly Lidia. She's very unfriendly, seems incapable of smiling or using manners such as please or thank you. It feels as if she really resents her job & the clients she serves. Clearly not cut out for hospitality. Not a nice experience, even for a regular client. The rest of the staff are very pleasant & charming
