Had omelette and chips and the omelette was covered in grease , chips not great . I always use to use this cafe so I donβt no if they have a new chief but the food was absolutely terrible to the point I just had to get up and leave. I will not be returning. Cafe was empty now I know why.
Had a lovely lunch will definitely visit again. Friendly service, a good choice on the menu and reasonably priced. We had roast dinners. The all day breakfasts being served looked good too.
My Husband Phil, took me out for a late breakfast, from the outside it looked very pretty....and inside was just the same, spotlessly clean. As soon as we were sat down, we were given our menus. I ordered "scrambled surprise" 2slices of scrambled egg on toast,2 hash browns Phil Had, "Essy Breakfast ", egg bacon, sausage, Beans n bubble It was extremely tasty, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.. Beautiful service,good quality food., Two very happy n full up customers .
My ordered food came up very quickly which means it was preheated and then microwaved once it was given to me, I try to give custom to local business but this time it let the side down.
Size of your portion is very small to what I've had elsewhere. Also I have never seen a sausage cut into such thin slices to make one sandwich, I mean come on one sausage to a sandwich! Lol also they fill heinze bottles of sauce with some cheap sauce, that I wasn't a fan of either, I would rather they put the price up and give us what we expect
1 GOOD THING ONLY ! 1 STAR FOR THE WAITER MAN WITH MUSCLES ! HE IS VERY GOOD AND FRIENDLY AND FAST! But I didn't see him anymore ! I think he left ! Food was aweful !!! Not tasty at all . Raw eggs !! Taste of old oil in chips ! FOOD THERE IS NOT TASTY AT ALL ! I DIDNT EAT IT !
Was clean and staff welcoming but food not great. Sausages were tasteless, mushroom were flavourless, toast was burnt. Will not be going back unless ingredients and the way good is cooked changes.
Good, friendly service, breakfast was good. Unfortunately the fish and chips was in all honesty the worst I have ever had, see attached picture. Didn't even come with any peas or lemon or salad. Fish was dryer than a flip flop, hard at both ends and all around the edge. Probably due to freezer burn, haddock was not white or fresh. Would have scored just 1 star but waitress was good and in the (unlikely) event that this was a one off occurrence, I have given an additional star.
I enjoy always their food, the place is pleasent to be. and the staff are so Nice.
