Breakfast was lovely and fresh. I’m coeliac but the cafe manager was very understanding, she talked through options I could have. She was very helpful and we’ve already planned to come back next week. The other staff were very pleasant and welcoming also. 5 stars thank you Barnyard cafe Team.

I have had cancer, meaning I can not eat a full meal, so I asked for a child's meal. Instant response was "no we have been told that they are only for children." I had to prove I was genuine, ( I have a card) but still, they had to ask the manager! The manager should allow the discretion of the server .... It puts a real damper on how you feel about a place when faced with this sort of discrimination. And the meal was luke warm....

Lunch starts at 11:30, and breakfast stops that time. Very popular both weekdays and weekend. If course to sit anywhere except indoor main area, you must pay before getting food. Inside you order and pay after! Toilets are basic and outdoors. Prices higher than usual, but food does arrive together. Provided a jug of water with ice, perfect for a hot day.

Nice environment, produce good quality, but some disappointment, not much variation for the breakfast came with mushrooms and tomato, asked for no tomato but few more mushrooms and was charged £2 extra, and they weren’t well cooked or very hot , bacon was good sasauge was ok , the bread was nice . All in all average and a-bit overpriced .

Nice little cafe offering hot and cold food and drinks. Tucked away next to the fishing lake. Parking is free. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff. Worth a visit if your passing

Regularly stop by in the afternoon for a slice of cake and drink with my 3 YO. Lovely little cafe/restaurant. Really good customer service.

Unfortunately we arrived a touch too late for lunch but had lovely coffee and cakes. The environment is classy and chilled, with sufficient staff levels to ensure nobody waits.

A lovely little farm cafe, right next to a nice farm shop, that is set back from the main road which makes you feel like you are in a more remote location. The cafe is a fantastic place to bring the family and relax. There is a lovely playground with swings, slides and a ride on digger. Staff were friendly, professional and polite. Service could have been a little faster but I guess that could be blamed on fussy customers in front of me. Price is a little steep with two cream teas coming to around £10+ the scones are big and you don't get a lot of jam and cream to spread. But all in all I left here with positive experience and will be back.
