Fantastic little cafe at the back of tkmaxx, variety of food choices. The cake selection is amazing, our food and drinks were all very nice. The girls are all lovely and welcoming.
Visited the cafe today for lunch, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Food reasonably priced will be back soon.
Sausage sandwich was very spicy and not nice when I asked to have it changed found manager very rude and an attitude I am a regular at this cafe so was unimpressed
We are regular customers here and usually the staff is very welcoming and polite. The lady at the till even knows our order (as it is always the same). However, this afternoon, we decided to get a snack as usual, but the girl at the till (never seen her before) was very frowned. She was cleaning some of the equipment and when she noticed us, didn't payed much of attention. However she took our order, leaving in us the feeling that we disturbed. After the food was ready I went to the till and asked if I can get and two side plates.... the look she gave and her manner ,made me regret that we went there at all!
We used to really enjoy our trip to TK cafe but it is now very expensive. 1 panini, 2 chips, tea, and soft drink is now £18+ which is a massive increase since covid. It's a hit and miss with customer service too. There are two girls that are very nice, polite, happy and accommodating, but there is another older woman who is ALWAYS miserable, and grumpy and should not be serving. The scowl she wears is enough to put anyone off ordering anything! Last week was our last sadly, it's not enjoyable anymore where you are welcomed and get better choice and service.
Just a thought ,I would rather sell 20 cups of tea at £2 a pot than 1 at £2.30?,so just too let you know I won’t be frequenting your establishment again anytime soon.

They got our order wrong basically blamed us, wouldn’t change it unless I paid extra. The manager was rude and wouldn’t help. So got a refund for panini I didn’t order. Won’t be going in here again and would definitely not recommend.
My wife and me went to cafe maxx ( Lakeside retail)Sunday 18 February about 1:30 ,the woman serving was aggressive and so unhelpful . Hard to believe this woman is allowed to be so rude and upset so many . Why are there no Managers monitoring ? The staff at this cafe are in desperate need of Customer Service training .
