“My husband and I needed a quick breakfast near kings cross station, Google brought us here. It was a perfect last breakfast in the UK. Pancakes were amazing and “The Number 2” was just what we wanted! Service was super friendly and quick, coffees were tasty. Great experience overall.”

“I have been going here since I worked in the area and the food and cafe are some of the best I have ever had. You can get everything here. Breakfast is the best. They do pretty much anything you want. It is clean, the staff are the best people and they work so hard to provide the best customer service. I would seriously suggest that if you work in the area you should give these guys a call even if you can’t sit down. Just order for collection. They are quick and their food is so good. The mac and cheese was extremely cheesy and the bacon was juicy, and the steak in the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. We also decided to go for dessert, the chocolate fudge cake, which was just as good as the mains.”

“Star Boy Grill in Essex serves some of the best African food I've had—it's now my go-to after trying all the top spots in London and Essex. The Jollof rice is incredible, easily some of the best I've tried, and the plantains are always perfectly cooked, never too ripe or too hard. If you're craving great Suya, this place is a must. The owner’s hospitality and the lively music create an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!”

“I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Point A Hotel Kings Cross—and especially with Clara—deserves every bit of praise. Back in May 2025, I had to cancel my long-awaited trip to London due to a heartbreaking emergency: my cat was suddenly hospitalized. I cancelled the trip to stay by her side but my reservation was made via agoda under a non-refundable policy, Clara, with incredible compassion and dedication, went above and beyond to help us. Her kindness really meant a lot to us especially both emotionally and practically. Thankfully, my cat made a full recovery in September 2025, and we were finally able to visit London and stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure (a small detail, but it makes a big difference!). Breakfast was a delight each morning and it is free! Lovely pastries, croissants, and a selection of fruits and yogurts that made starting the day feel indulgent. Clara, thank you again for your warmth, your patience, and your passion for helping guests. Point A Hotel is lucky to have you—and so were we. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.”

“We were had breakfast there today,(also eveing meals) the food was lovely, loved the porridge. The 2 ladies Beverly and Anita were very friendly and chatty felt comfortable and relaxed. The dinning area was clean and very well looked after We would highly recommend. Thank you it made our 2 day break go really great.”
