Phoned up and car was dropped off, diagnosed and price given later that day. Parts ordered and car was returned within a few working days. Great service.
Absolutely fantastic garage! They managed to find and fix a non-obvious, intermittent fault with my Volvo that others couldn’t diagnose. Their diagnostics were incredibly thorough (and even offered free of charge), and their prices are very competitive. They always use genuine Volvo parts, which gives me full confidence in the quality of their work. On more than one occasion, they’ve kindly squeezed my car in for a quick check rather than making me wait weeks for an appointment — that kind of customer service is rare! What really stands out is their honesty and fairness. On my last visit today, after inspecting my car free of charge, they advised me to take the car to a main dealer because the issue might be covered under warranty — even though it meant they’d lose the job. That says it all. A trustworthy, professional, and customer-focused garage. I will certainly recommend!
What a fantastic place. I wouldn't use any other garage. They are really helpful, going above and beyond. They never overcharge and never do work that doesn't need doing. All the work they do is really thorough and high quality. Couple of examples- my battery was flat. I took it in and they tried charging it for me first before they knew I needed a new one. I thought I had a slow puncture, they fully tested my tyres and didn't want any money for that. I needed an MOT, they checked my oil and filters and as I had hardly done any miles and they were fine and didn't change them. They just fixed my wheel/ tyre valves but only charged me for the MOT. They wouldn't even accept a tip! They're just fantastic. You find a garage you can trust, you hang on to them and this is a garage you can absolutely trust. I bring my motorbike here and they're just fantastic with it. Thanks so much.
Had an oil leak on my four series bmw Southport auto managed to get me in the same day to find the source of the leak they got me booked in within a few days the car was in and out within the day ..great service and above all took care of my pride and joy ..will defo use again thanks guys

Put my XC90 in for a major service and cambelt change. Chris informed me that I needed a few extra things needed doing he gave me the price of the extras and the choice of doing it or not. Very happy with the job done. Very friendly and helpful.
I took my Jaguar X-Type 2.2 D for some wax oil work underneath, Whilst booking the car in I had a conversation about "carbon cleaning", I told them the issue was the car would go into "limp mode" if accelerating and that the pick up wasn't smooth. They recommended a "revive" treatment which cleans the compete turbo system. The difference when I got the car back was outstanding! Acceleration was super smooth and fast, mpg has increased and the car is quieter. so thank you Southport Auto Centre for giving me my new car back! daveg

Chris and his team are excellent. I've been coming back for over seven years with both my cars (for service, repair work, MOT and sales).
