Had four tyres fitted and they were a bargin with 20% off. Halfords center at Wigan was staffed by polite, professional staff. Would highly recommend.
I’m very happy with the service I received — after an issue with my car engine misfire the night before, they were the only garage able to take it in and fix it next day in the morning, which was really important to me. Their communication throughout the process was clear and reassuring, and the repair was completed surprisingly fast. Very pleased overall and would definitely recommend.
The staff is really polite and nice. The services are prompt and accurate, is the second time when they are working on my car and I don’t have any complaints. I went with the car at different services and damaged it or done a poorly job, things that never happened at Halford. Thank you.
Had my MOT done at this centre. I was told I needed my entire exhaust system replacing which was unsurprisingly not cheap. Returned less than 12 months later and was informed my entire exhaust would need replacing again. After pointing out that they had already done that prior, they took a second look, and realised it had simply not been installed correctly in the first place. I also needed a new tyre. After swapping it, they did not reinstall the wheel correctly, as it started to make very concerning, not so subtle noises the second I drove it off the car park. If you want your repairs done correctly the first time, DO NOT COME HERE.
Booked in under AA Warrenty. Not a choice unfortunately as I am aware of the staff in this office. Booked in for diagnosis. As drop off advised that 'it's not something we do'. It's a fan motor on the blower system. As per halfords website it absolutley is something they do. The man at the desk had said this to 2 customers before me. Didn't hear anything all say - I called them. They hung up 8 times. Eventually got through to be advised they wouldn't fix it as they didn't have the part. I advised I'd let AA know as this is who the warrenty is with. Suddenly he decided it was something they would fix and he would call me back. Never called back. I had to call again to be told they needed the car overnight. The next day I called 19 times. They would answer and immediately hang up. Eventually had to call customer service who also couldn't get through and had to email the regional manager. Then I tried again and they answered, advicing 'WiFi issues' stopped them answering. Untrue. And if this was the case - what was the plan for customers? He said the part they needed would take 13 weeks to arrive and they would need to keep the car for that time as AA demand it. He was obviously still not wanting to complete the job. His name is Jordan and I have put a complaint in about him. I rang AA - they advised that they wouldn't need them to keep the car and clearly he was attempting to put barriers in the way if completing the work. They advised me to go somewhere else whilst they also put a complaint in. Went to collect my car - it was in the garage and not ready - unsure why if no work had been done, it then took time for them to confirm I didn't need to pay as they actually had only made the situation worse. When I took my keys and left the desk agent shouted 'well that was rude'. As though they hadn't taken my car for two days, ignored me, and refused to do any work on it. I have never been treated so poorly than by the people in the garage. They are rude, arrogant and misogynistic. I have heard them speak to other customers in the same way and if my car broke down in the car park, I would set it on fire before asking them to fix it voluntarily. Bad service, bad people,avoid at all costs.
