This is my favourite location, it’s small, but cosy! The coffee quality is excellent, baristas are friendly. First time I visited cappuccino wasn’t warm enough, the barista gave me vaucher for free drink next time I visit. I appreciate that customer service very much, so I came back and they prepared the cappuccino exactly how I wanted!
I visited Kiss the Hippo and ordered a matcha along with an oatmeal and raisin cookie. The matcha was fine and enjoyable, but the cookie was very sweet, which was a bit disappointing as I chose it hoping for a healthier option. It didn’t really feel or look particularly healthy. The vibe inside the café was very minimal and clean, which some people may enjoy. In terms of service, one member of staff was attentive and helpful, while another was not very friendly, which slightly affected the overall experience.
£8 for a cappuccino and a croissant. Ok it’s Richmond and the locals are probably not bothered by the price. The cappuccino was very good, but the croissant was cold inside. Freshly defrosted? If I pay £4 for a pastry I’d like it to be warm or at least at room temperature.
Great coffee and a cozy place to sit for a short time to drink it. Busy enough that this may not be ideal for longer coffee shop days or larger groups if dining in.
The Oats Extra-hot flat white was very good. I have to come back later to try out the pastries. A nice little place, to stop by for a good coffee.

Really good speciality coffee with wide selections of coffee origins. Very welcoming staff. They have indoor and outdoor tables but the indoor is a bit tight.
Excellent for coffee in Richmond! These guys are friendly and consistent! Is my go to place when around. Not many indoor places to sit currently, but perfect for a window perch or take out!
