Tbh i was worried when i read these reviews but my experience was reasonable. I had attestation done. By western standards maybe there is room for improvement in professionalism but felt like an admin office in pakistan amd we got the job done without any major dramas. Staff i engaged with were serious-polite rather than friendly-polite or rude-polite. I think if you follow the rules and come organised the staff will follow the procedures and assist you. I found the actual office quite cosy so no issues there. Was able to pray without any dramas.

I came here to check what the situation is with appointments and it seems nothing has changed in terms of customer service since I last visited some years ago . I need to get a replacement Nadra card made for my mum who has severe anxiety . I am disgusted by the reviews that I have read regarding how customers are treated and the lack of respect is shocking! Management should be held accountable for the way staff behave and standards need to be improved drastically. This place would be placed in special measures if it was ever to be audited. I would like to request Management to kindly mention on your website what are the timings for the mobile registration venues as this is missing. Do you expect customers to wait around the whole day with sick and elderly relatives??? Is that how you would like to be treated. Astaghfirullah, these people have no shame!

Assalam o Alaikum everyone, I am writing this message straight from my heart — every single word is sincere. The Consul General of Pakistan in Birmingham is truly a remarkable lady. She treats every Pakistani passport holder like her own family — as a mother and a sister. Her kindness, humility, and dedication are beyond words. May Allah bless her with a long, healthy, and happy life. I sincerely pray that Allah fills her life with peace and success in this world and the Hereafter. Officers like her make us proud of our country and remind us that even far from home, we are never alone.

Visited today, very good experience, let me break it down for you. I had an appointment at 10am to renew NADRA card. I got there at 9.40am, there were only two car parking spaces left and fortunately I got one. Parking is free and Pakistan Consulate parking is to the left of the building (when you're facing the building). Be careful to park in the correct bay, as otherwise you'll get a fine. I went in at 9.50am and there were already two people ahead of me, I reckon they also got the 10am slot. Everything is on the same floor so very convenient. I gave the guy at the front desk my reference number for the appointment and he gave me a token and instructed me to go to the first counter and show the token. At the first counter, I showed my token and previous NADRA card. That guy took a photo of me and printed off a slip with my picture and a number on it. He instructed me to visit another counter when my number is called, I was number 3. My number was called on speaker and I was instructed to go to counter number 3. At counter number 3, the gentleman was very nice, polite and professional. He took my fingerprints and details, checked my passport and took my photo. He printed a form for me to check the details. After that, he gave me the form and a QR code to make the payment, using the machine by the water counter. He also said I need my passport photocopy, which I had with me. I paid the exact amount and got two receipts. I gave one receipt, the form and passport photocopy back to the guy on the first counter and that was it. The card will be posted to me. It took about 20 minutes in total. I'm looking forward to my trip to Pakistan, insha'Allah!

There was nothing “Islamic” about the conduct of the individuals working at this awful institution. You offer a salam and receive no response, the most basic manners are absent. It’s truly embarrassing that these are the people representing Pakistan. My experience at the consulate mirrored that of many others: I was made to wait up to 2 hours for a manager who didn’t help. I was spoken down to, not assisted, and treated with a complete lack of respect. I sincerely hope these reviews are read and acted upon, because Pakistan deserves to be represented by professional, courteous, and responsible individuals.

FAST SMOOTH AND EFFICIENT. Had to renew my NADRA card and the service was awesome. Was apprehensive, due to hearing some horror stories and my last experience many years ago in the old embassy. However this time round was faultless. Greeted at reception, sent me to the first window to get a token number. Then sat down and waited maximum 20mins. Enough time to use the prayer facilties in the waiting hall. Called into to see someone who checked all my details and I gave copies of all my documents. Then finally sent to pay at the machine using the QR code and hand it all to the last desk. NADRA Eexcutive service used which states 10 working days. However I got mine in just 3 working days. Result! Alot of positives compared to the old place. Proper prayer and toilet facilties and a nice warm heating area. Free car parking for around 20 cars outside. Just make sure you have photocopies of every document you can imagine and you have someone who can attest the documents with you (any other pak citizen) then nothing can wrong. The whole process took just over an hour. Keep in mind they are closed for lunch between 12.30 and 14.00 and you won't find anyone in the reception or counters at this time.

I came to make my Pakistan passport and was told I need to bring my birth certificate, I asked if there was any other thing that is required and was told no. I came back at a later date with my birth certificate to be told I also need two nadra cards from relatives in Pakistan and their contact details. I then had to go back again to acquire this information and print it off. They send you away to print something off and then they tell you oh have you got this? You do that then come back to be told oh yeah how about this? This place literally makes you run around in circles, they give incomplete information and waste your time making you come back and forth. I have visited the embassy multiple times over the years and have never had a smooth experience. The staff I spoke to don't speak English which makes communication even more difficult. They really need to improve the service as I am at my wit's end dealing with these guys. So I wrote this while I was waiting from 11.30am to 2.30pm.. after I gave them the information they required they simply gave me a form and told me to fill it in I have waited 3 hours for basically nothing and will have to return again at a later date. Typical. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Edit 2 months later So I've come back again and printed off all the documents requested last time I was here, followed everything they asked of me, last time I was here I even asked multiple times if they are sure there's not anything else I need to bring and upon having my documents checked, what a suprise I'm missing something again! Despite not being told I needed this on my last visit I have now had to leave again to acquire this documentation and who knows what they will say the next time I come back. They should just give people a checklist in paper form and the application document and that way there is no confusion. Having to come back and forth constantly is draining.

Thank you Malik Saab and the brother at the reception, both of you are amazing. Often time people who go there have no clue to what they need or have to do, the employes there are so impatient and they belittle you at every turn especially the passport office. I applied for my first passport and it took 15 months. At every appointment they said "we need another document" so many times id ask them i needed anything else? Which they would reply to no, but of course at the next appointment they needed another document. I ask Allah the Most High to put rahmah in theses peoples hearts..

The staff very friendly and helpful. Sometimes the people blame the Consulate administration but in fact the public is more responsible because these places are ours and we have to take care of them. But our people think that they are something very special by having British status or nationality....Please don't forget where we come from so be what we are. Give respect before and you will receive much more,,,,good luck.

Today was my third time of going to Pakistan consulate Birmingham. Always pleased with the services. Booked my appointment just a day before and today I was served very quickly by the members. Also, there is always support available for everyone over there.
