I know we’re in London but £4.30 for a flat white is extortionate. I can’t even say the vibe is good or that the food offer is decent because it’s not, Costco croissants in plastic bags. Disappointing as this area lacks decent coffee shops.
Very nice service, lovely barista. Coffee is not as bad I was expecting, it was actually above average for a non-specialty place. Lets be clear though, this place is clearly not the same one that received outstanding reviews. You can simply look at the tone and language used in the replies to the reviews in this thread, its not the same person. The music was reasonably loud crappy pop from the radio, the whole vibe is more like a turkish barber than a cafe. Honestly this was the worst part, could just change to something more background and it would be much better. The new owner talks a lot about premium coffee. For those that don't understand the coffee business, the cost of the beans themselves are one of the _smallest_ costs. Real estate, staff and other business and property related costs vastly outweigh beans. Most coffee is very cheap, really only with the exception of kopi luwak, some rarer geisha varieties and competition beans. This cafe is definitely not serving any of those. (Their beans are certainly better than the high-street chains, though thats a very low bar).
No idea how this place has good reviews, the only explanation I can find is that maybe they changed owners so the glowing reviews are old? I never leave reviews but genuinely felt like I owe it to others to spare them the expense and be honest. I ordered a pain au chocolat and an almond croissant at 8am, start of the day. I thought these were freshly baked, but instead they came out of plastic bags like individual little plastic bags from whoever their provider is. The pain au chocolat was like bread, and the almond croissant was so so greasy and heavy you genuinely couldn’t eat it. And I paid £8.20 for these. Genuinely I am sad. I’d like to add that the person who took my order was very kind and friendly! Not a reflection on him / the staff. But these croissants at that price (at any price honestly) was crazy.
This place seems to have changed owners, because as of May 2025, it doesn’t look like it did in other pictures. It’s not very cozy and the coffee is just ok. I paid £7.7 for a regular cappuccino and peppermint tea which is expensive for such a normal product
Amazing place for enjoy your time! I drink here every single day decaf hazelnut latte with protein balls, very tasty coffee, less sugar protein bar, you can't find coffee with hazelnut milk everywhere, also very friendly barista. Highly recommended.
This coffee shop makes some of the best expresso in London. Anthony uses only organic single estate beans that are ethically sourced. The result is coffee with thought and care. A single shot of expresso is dark , smooth with no bitterness. There is a small selection of pastries and panini if you fancy a bite. It's a wonderful place to hang out for a while.
Warm and welcoming place. Great coffee, nice croissants with cheese and pastrami for a quick bite, comfortable tables for work.
A lovely independent coffee shop on Fulham Palace Road. The cappuccino was quite creamy but delicious. They take cash and card which is great. The staff were happy and friendly, greeting you as soon as you walk in. Inside the coffee shop it's a relaxed environment away from the busy street of Fulham Palace Road. I would definitely visit again and would recommend it to any coffee lovers.
