We ordered a TGTG bag from this store and was in the store to pick it up at the given time. Upon arrival, the staff told me that there is no food left and they have already cancelled the TGTG bag for today. That was a lie. I did not receive any notification at all today that the bag is cancelled. When I asked the manager about it, she said someone didn't leave the fridge on last night so all food are spoiled today thus no bag can be given. I told her that if that was the case, she should let customers know well in advance so people don't need to spend time travel to your store, it's just not nice to be told on site, we all have a plan for the day. The manager showed no sign of apology or even remotely sorry for the inconvenience they caused me and went on to tell me that "most people coming here live just nearby" so she felt perfectly ok to not cancel an unavailable service in advance. What a shocking attitude! Since when can "most people live nearby" justify a store treating its customers poorly and justify their incompetence to perform basic business etiquette - if you won't have service that you promised to provide, tell people in advance, it's that simple.

Terrible service and rude staff. Arrived at 7am when they open but the doors stayed closed until 7.15am. When I asked why they left me waiting outside for 15 mins despite seeing me they just shrugged their shoulders. I left and went to WatchHouse around the corner instead. Much friendlier staff, atmosphere and great coffee too.

Peaceful location. Exceptional coffee and snacks. The service really really good due to Estera and Malakai, excellent staff, so nice and friendly and made my coffee just the way I like it, definitely come back. Highly recommend. Thank you .

Friendly attentive staff, jacket was done to perfection as it was hot, soft and fluffy with a great choice of toppings. Also be sure to ask for it to be well done as the potatoes vary in size.

An attractive space. But that’s the only positive comment. I popped in here late afternoon because all the other coffee shops in the area were full, and this one only had a few customers. Big mistake. The staff were offhand. We stood and waited while the woman serving finished wiping surfaces and ignored us. There were some nice-looking muffins on display, but when I asked if they had been there all day, I was told that they had. They were uncovered and unwrapped. At least she was honest. I took a wrapped brownie and coffee to a table. Didn’t particularly like the coffee and it was mainly foam. But the main thing was an awful smell. Thought someone had been ill in the toilet. Moved further from toilet. New seat also surrounded by pungent sewer smell. Then realised that two people were cleaning out what looked like a bucket of sludge from dishwasher. No idea why they were doing this while there were customers trying to eat/drink. Perhaps they were keen to leave early and go somewhere for a nice coffee... Noticed a sandwich was on floor, must have fallen out of fridge but staff too busy dealing with poo-smelling sludge to notice. Sludge work finished (grand finale was person carrying a huge sieve dripping with sludge past all the unwrapped cakes and upstairs). Staff member noticed sandwich on floor (well done her). She picked up sandwich and returned it to fridge (ah, not so well done). We had finished our coffee so decided to go and find somewhere that didn’t stink to chat. Tip for management: pay staff to stay after shop has shut and undertake industrial cleaning when no customers. Also invest in some glass covers for cakes.

A mega chilled environment which is perfect when one needs a space to study, a break from the office or catching up with friends. Clean and spacious with plenty of seats makes it easy to grab a spot and start to unwind. Decor has an industrial feel with some cool ass lighting. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The longer bench tables makes this place great for laptop workers or students who need to spread out and the sombre music makes it mega easy to slip into your zone. Tucked away in the middle of the square mile it is primarily office workers who frequent here so expect peaks in business around breakfast and lunch. Student discount is taken so make sure you have unidays. There is also 25p off drinks when you bring your cup so there is no excuse to not try their new cold brew almond latte - win!
