   A local pub for local people. Have tried some great ales over the years and without doubt, and probably one of the best beers I've ever tasted is the Paradigm Stout that sadly ceased trading a few years ago. Rumours are abound the the Sportsman may be closing and so instead of reading reviews, get down to the pub and write of your own experiences before it's too late.

   This is a straight down the line traditional pub, but with exceptional beer selection & genuinely hard working & nice staff. There are other good pubs in the area that serve gastro food, but this is the only pub that serves a changing selection of craft & real ales... And none have been ruined by Greene King!

   Best pub in Croxley. Best beer, friendliest staff and all the locals go here. Never a problem getting served no matter how busy it is. Yes some of the locals do sit at the bar but that is a good thing surely! Always enough staff on. Very popular with regulars and local clubs who choose this for their functions & get togethers. Can't go wrong.
