I attended a wake here on Friday and unfortunately found the service disappointing. I ordered two glasses of wine but was told that no wine glasses were available as they were being washed. I offered to wait, but was informed it could take longer, and the wine was eventually served in large gin glasses instead. Additionally, the sandwiches provided for the group had no labels and the fillings were of very poor quality, as can be seen in the attached photo. Overall, I would not recommend this venue for hosting a gathering or event.

I just had to visit Ickenham! So I ended up having a meal at Coach & Horses. Ickenham is so serene, it gives a countryside vibe. The Coach & Horses, blissful.

A friend came to visit us in the UK and we decided last minute to have dinner nearby. Saw this place had good Google reviews so we gave it a try. The dining area was nice and quiet, perfect for catching up and chatting. We went for the weekday set menu (£18.50 for three courses) and honestly, every dish was way better than expected – really tasty and nicely done. For the price, it was such a great deal. Super happy with the meal and would definitely come back!

Efficient service. Food was really really good. Shame they didn’t have the Yorkshire wagyu burger. Only downside is you have to order at the bar even though they have a dedicated restaurant area. Would come again! Parking available.

I visited Coach & Horses on a Friday night with a friend. We had a booking, and although the pub wasn’t full, it had a nice, cosy atmosphere. The pub is spacious with two areas: a bar with TVs for sports fans and a quieter seating area where we were placed. The service was fast and friendly, which we appreciated. However, the food was disappointing. I had sausages and mash with gravy on the side. The sausages seemed pre-cooked and reheated, and the mashed potatoes were some of the worst I’ve had—lumpy, unseasoned, and lacking any real flavour. We also shared the fried squid starter, but it was equally underwhelming, completely unseasoned. While the atmosphere and service were nice, the food didn’t match the standard. If the kitchen improved, this place could be great.

The food is disgusting, I would eat anything normally and never bother to moan but we had the almond pesto linguine with grilled chicken, it was linguine pasta with chicken. bone dry with no sauce whatsoever, when we asked for some sauce to make it edible they said "no sorry that's how it comes " I added some mayonnaise just to get it down.

Not only is the coach an amazing pub but the staff is incredible. I was served by a very lovely girl Charlie I believe her name is. I’m new to the area and she made me feel so welcomed. The food was very good as well. Loved how dogs can come in it’s the perfect family pub
