Being brutally honest, I was served raw chicken and tasted like nonsense concrete from B&Q (please take me back) and my pint of carling tasted like Dylan macandcheeses nans dusty ashes, not a good place at all vibe was very down so disappointed. Also wills a prick xx
Last Friday, we visited Chesnut pub with my friends. We had a great time. The food was served quickly and it was delicious. The hospitality was excellent. We had special signature cocktails and mocktails at the pub. They were so refreshing.
Have been visiting this good old pub since 2023. 1. **Food Quality:** Food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. The flavour was truly authentic with all the aroma and ingredients 2. **Service:** Dining was very good with extraordinary service from the friendly staff. 3. **Ambiance:** Atmosphere was very good, English pub with really tasty Indian food. 4. **Variety:** The menu had a lot of Indian varieties such as Soups,Chicken65, Chilli Chicken,Tang-di-kebab, Chicken Manchurian, Authentic Dhum Biriyani to mention a few. 5. **Presentation:** Food was plated well with nice garnishing. 6. **Value for Money:** Prices were nominal and a good portion served 7. **Authenticity:** If you want to enjoy traditional Hyderabad cuisine, then this is the place to head to where your taste buds will arouse after each bite. I would totally recommend you to visit this place and experience the authenticity of Hyderabadi cuisine.
Great place to hangout with mates. Lovely staff and friendly management. Very spacious with a lot of variety. Amazing place to have a nice party with lads. New addition of the pool table is perfect !! Amazing food addition. Best taste I had in recent times.
Really nice local pub. Friendly and unpretentious. A bit run down feel but that doesn't take away from the warm atmosphere. Beer is cheap and it has plenty of seating.
Disappointing, no real ale, no Sky Sports, although advertised outside, and very unwelcoming. Favoured locals only!
Family run pub, really friendly landlady and landlord. Nice atmosphere and well adapted to covid regulations.
It's got character and has great tributes and bands play live. The Vivs Elvis is quite unique and the quality & entertainment is 7 star!!
We had a wake here and the chestnuts provided the food. Everyone was so impressed and commented that it was the nicest they'd had. The freshly cooked warm scones with cream and jam were a huge hit. Thank you so much
