    A superb boozer. It is almost preserved in time from about 30-40 years. From the £1 pool tables, to the slightly worn carpet, old box tv and dimmed lighting from old lamps. Most of the decor and interior is brilliantly unrestored and it makes for a great unsanitised pub. There were plenty of beers on offer and a few ales. On a Sunday afternoon it didn’t appear that any food was on offer. A really good no nonsense pub that I hope will remain the same for as long as possible.

    A lovely location with some friendly and chatty staff. Had an amazing roast here with my family. Dog friendly with space in the back and a side ally to enter into the beer garden. A good deal of space and a wonderful local atmosphere.

    It's dull and boring. Their food gross, it's either dry, to over seasoned or burnt. Never coming here again. It use to be good 10/10 since the take over it's now minus.

    The Bricklayers has just reopened under new management and we decided to visit for a family Sunday carvery. We were not disappointed. The service and staff were great and welcoming and the food was amazing. The portion sizes were large and the quality of food was a very high standard. The decor is very traditional and made it feel very welcoming. We will definitely visit again soon.

    This place does the most amazing Sunday roasts. Make sure you are hungry, the food is yummy as for the people/staff so friendly. The garden is lovely great in the summer, sheltered in the winter. Service is outstanding ...well done

    Lovely local pub, delightful staff, clean and comfortable interior with pool tables in the public bar. Gentleman on the bar informed us of the lunchtime food as well as the Sunday lunches (12-3 lunch, look incredible). Definitely one to stop in and have a drink.
