Food was okay it was pretty average asked for steak medium rare but both me and my wife got well done steak and was pretty tough. Service was great was served by Robert I think his name was he was friendly and we had a good laugh with him. Would come back at some point in the future.

There is a shortage of good chefs to the point they get poached ! We visited 3 times in 3 days. Staff amazing. Ample parking, outdoor enclosed space for children, tables with parasols. Inside large, clean. Chef and brewer so can use tesco vouchers for food. Although did not eat..lots of clean plates. Children welcomed and woofits. Check to see if chef having a well deserved day off....a very rare occasion.

Table for 6, three grandparents, one 10 year old, two parents, and one well behaved dog. Two of the grandparents chose Roast Turkey with Pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings from the kids menu (pensionersβ portions) and said they were a perfect size; I had the Crispy Duck salad starter as a main, which was absolutely delicious.Β All this and a very personable and helpful waitress, Katherine.Β Altogether a most enjoyable Sunday lunch.

Lovely staff and service - they were great. However the steak sandwich I ordered was overcooked and a bit chewy, and the salad never arrived because the kitchen was missing ingredients, but we were only informed when everyone else got their food. Overall was a nice place, I would visit again but probably just for drinks

This place gets the job done for a good feed and is great for families. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food hits the spot and falls firmly in the bracket of gastro pub grub. The venue still retains the chain vibe a bit which is a shame and probably wouldn't recommend for just drinks given the focus on food service. All in all a solid shout if visiting with friends and much improved since my previous visit.

I cannot thank the staff enough for a lovely lunch with my old mum. I asked for a quiet corner and it was perfect. Food was great and reasonably priced and the staff were amazing. So polite, accommodating and smiley! It was great, thank you so much, made my life so much easier!! Wish we lived closer!

75% of the menu is unavailable which is incredibly disappointing. No steaks available at all!! Quicker to tell what is available than look at the menu. A real let down!! The picture is the hand battered Atlantic Cod, Β£12.49 plus 50p each for the scampi. By the time the batter was removed the bit of cod was very small, having been told that this was going to be a large piece of fish, the reality was laughable. Better value at a chip shop!!

The pub itself is really nice - decent decor and super friendly staff. We had a starter board with seafood and kebabs and it was really yummy. However the mains not so much. Hunters chicken and the pie were really dry and the veg looked and tasted like the frozen bag you get from the supermarket. The steak was cooked perfectly - medium rare - but the steak itself was ropey and chewy - a cheap cut. The Mac cheese was a disaster. Mushy and starchy. Not sure how you even get Mac cheese like that? The one thing that made my night was the fact the toilet door was so close to the toilet - you had to straddle the toilet to shut the door! No fatty puffs going toilet in here!

Really disappointed, food poor and service so slow Could of had a better burger at a road side greasy spoon for 1/4 of price! Lettuce and salad well past sell by. Shame as actual pub and decor is good.
