   Hi, took the family for Sunday lunch. Fantastic roast lamb and the mint sauce was x. £22, vfm.cant go wrong.

   Tried the chicken roast and it was awful. No condiments, the gravy tasted like it's bisto. A sachet of mustard was all they really had to offer. The vegetables were over cooked and quite awful. Shockingly, Toby Carvery offers better value for money. The ambience was pitiful music and a few lads in the garden, which overlooks the Thames. The orange juice was sunpride nonsense. Service was mediocre. I would sooner spend a bit more money and visit elsewhere. I certainly would never recommend the roast dinner and wouldn't come back here for a roast. Lots of parents with children were here too. Felt a bit like a south east London pub that just happens to have a garden over the Thames. Very chav friendly (not my thing).

   What a fabulous pub. We just nipped in for a drink and a packet of crisps but loved everything about it. Super friendly staff who all seemed to know exactly how to chat with the customers whilst working hard to keep the place ticking over. The atmosphere is great - lovely original feel to it - great inside and even better out in the garden with its riverside setting. Directors and Brakspear Gravity were a couple of belting bitters. All in all, couldn't fault it.

   Last minute Sunday roast. Quick, friendly service, food good, plenty off it, only slight issue was my lamb whilst cooked perfectly, was a bit fatty. To be fair, virtually all Sunday roasts I have had have been similar with lamb. My partners chicken was perfect. Nice place inside, bit quirky, lots of nooks and crannies. Recommended.

   It's nice, but not amazing. The food is okay but nothing to write home about, the drinks are drinks, the atmosphere is nice, the garden is very nice. I recommend going for a pint if you're in the area and I enjoyed myself there. Nice and cozy pub

   We fancied tapas and our usual venue was booked solid at lunch time. A quick Google search for tapas found the Phoenix, plus it was by the river. They don't take bookings but upon arrival we found several suitable tables outside. The tapas menu was limited but what we ordered was very tasty, they had one of my favourite tapas; shallow fried chorizo in olive oil. If eating outside, you order and pay for food and drink at the outside bar.

   One of my favorite places to visit for a drink. Contains an outdoors section right next to Thames, with heaters. Food is nice and beers are wonderful. Just an amazing place.
