5 Stars One of my favourite spots in Uxbridge! Great vibes, lovely staff, and the food and drinks never disappoint. Always a good time here—whether it’s a chilled pint after work or a weekend hangout with friends. Definitely worth checking out!
Absolutely love this place! I’m a regular here and it never disappoints. It’s always a fun time going out with friends—the atmosphere is lively, the music is great, and the staff are welcoming. The venue itself has a great vibe, whether you’re there for a chill evening or something more upbeat. We’ve come out to watch F1 races here, and it’s such a brilliant spot for it—loads of energy and good company all around. Can’t recommend it enough!
The Metropolitan Tavern in Uxbridge? Seriously good pub. Proper welcoming vibe, great drinks (decent beers, loads of gins), and tasty pub food. Brilliant for watching sports with loads of screens and even bookable booths. Plus, they've got fun stuff like karaoke and live music. Friendly staff, beer garden, and they love dogs. Basically, a top-notch local that's well worth a visit.
the metropolitan tavern is such a friendly open arms pub. since new management has taken over, the place is flourishing, weekends are amazing and secure though out the night. the staff are brilliant and nothing is never too much. great entertainment and late bar, perfect for couples and friends.
Post COVID this is much better. Stella still on tap. Good for sport with plenty of screens dotted about. Not much outside space if you want that for the summer months. Food is decent and good choice of dishes. I found the new menu at the Fig over the road isn't that good anymore, so prefer this.
I have to say this pub left me with a bad taste in my mouth literally. We were sat in the back area by the exit to the outside ' garden ' the smell was quite prominent and left a bad taste in our mouths I certainly would not eat in this pub as the kitchen is next to this area a very poor experience.
Nice place that's surrounded by pubs. There are about 3 other pubs that are almost next to this. Good atmosphere, decent food and drinks both quality and price Good seats inside but the layout can get a bit of getting used to.
Nice atmosphere. Food is really good and staff is amazing, they bring a bowl with water for the dog without asking. Great service and super friendly. Totally recommend the place. And dog friendly of course!
