   Jul25- first timer. Recommended by local family. Easy to book online. 7pm on a Friday. Inside seemed empty and outside , weather good, folks sat. At first seemed lacklustre, but this was quickly taken over by wonderful friendly staff who made up for slow service with helpfulness and great attitude. We were there for 4hrs and it was so relaxed. Canalside view outside, inside plenty of a/c and separate dining area. Food was great sizes and wide choice. Hot, big plates and tasty. Amazing. Would recommend. Nov25- can still recommend. Another fab afternoon and inside. Despite delays with our friends the staff were fab and relaxed and sorted the allergy issue also.

   First time here, what a brilliant example of how to do things right. Booked a large party for a birthday on a bank holiday as well, and pre ordered food which was fine. Everything came out together and every single person in our party remarked how amazing the food was. Absolutely fantastic service as well, faultless. Thanks to our servers Tom and Emma, who were calm, friendly and efficient. Top marks for the food as well, will definitely come back and I do recommend it 100%. Also great vegan options which is my personal interest, very varied and delicious!

   Came here for lunch today and the food was lovely, although very slow to come out to us. We waited around 45 minutes. Definitely good to have the lunch time menu, makes it a bit more affordable. I had the pan fried chicken and it was so tasty. Staff are friendly and it’s generally a great pub! Thanks guys.

   Lovely new menu. I am vegetarian with a nut allergy. The menu had lots of vegetarian choices that is nut free. Service was great, We went for lunch and it was a little quiet. But a great place for lunch to have a lovely catch with friends without being disturbed. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. There is a great lunch time menu, as well as a set menu and a full dinner menu

   We came for the Sunday roast and it was amazing. We had the trio roast and the pork belly, both really great. The crackling in both is the best I’ve had. Very good food. Very friendly staff. I would definitely come back.

   Good service, atmosphere and food. The vegan kebab skewer starter wasn't a big serving, but was tasty. Good vegan options for mains including a pie, tart or burger. Dessert was also lush (chocolate torte)! I feel the costs are a bit pricey for value. Other than that, not bad.

   A very decent canal side greene king pub. Small but tasty separation of vegan food and good drinks on tap, well priced and the staff are fantastic! Highly recommended and as it’s right on the canal you can go for a lovely walk afterwards to let your food go down.
