There were 9 of us at The Poyntz last night. They gave us plenty of room. We weren't crushed in like sardines. Service was great. Not slow, considering they were busy. The food came out piping hot and was delicious. Well done guys

Visited the Poyntz on Wednesday night, never been before. It's a full on pub which is nice but can be noisy and a bit of a nightmare when grabbing a table. We'd booked but the sable was surrounded by 15 people talking away which is 100% fine as it's a pub but when 4 of you are sitting down to eat it was quite hard to hear. We thought there maybe a quieter place to eat but there was a reef making event going on. Our part ordered their food at the bar (no table service). I had crispy Korean Cauliflower, gochujang glaze red chilli & sesame seeds to start and for main it was the Root vegetable pie with halloumi. That was easy enough to order. Everyone's food came out together bar mine, It came out 15-20mins after everyone else so I was eating on my own. No explanation or anything and I had to ask where the food was which is disappointing. Good place, food good, ok service, will be back again at some point.

I booked a family Xmas meal this weekend for 18 adults and 2 children. The booking process with Verity was seamless. We had a large space to ourselves and the service and the food (everyone agreed it tasted like homemade) were impeccable. We were looked after throughout. Definitely recommend for a Xmas celebration venue. Thanks for having us.

Came here on a whim with my parents as I was craving a roast dinner. And I’m very glad I did!! Dare I say, it’s the best Sunday roast in the whole of Molesey! The food was exceptional and was presented beautifully! The staff were accommodating and lovely! It was fairly priced and just a lovely atmosphere! I’ll definitely be back! Thank you to all the chefs and bar staff who made our visit wonderful!

Really sweet and lively place — I hadn’t been to this pub before the Big Smoke acquired it, but now it seems to have transformed into such a great spot! The food is always good, the staff are super friendly, it’s busy pretty much every night of the week, and it has a lovely beer garden. The Sunday roast was one of the best one I’ve had in a while, and their small plates are also great and worth trying.

Brilliant Sunday Roast….Molesey’s best kept secret! These roasts are all delicious (lamb, pork, beef). Huge portions, succulent veg and loads of fantastic quality meat. Totally delicious! The chef even personally came to our table to talk through our allergies and tailored a meal to accommodate gluten and dairy intolerances. Highly recommended!

Great pub with a very friendly vibe. Good beers on tap, top quality food and decent live music most weekends. Highly recommended.

Had fantastic 50th party at Poyntz last night which Tony & Kevin arranged for me. Nothing was too much trouble from organising DJ (Charlie was fantastic, he played everything from my playlist & more brilliant tunes) to decorations & heating up food! I highly recommend Poyntz for party or just night out, all staff were brilliant, great atmosphere & service. Sunday roasts are also highly recommend!

So we at last got to try the much hyped Sunday roast. And yes it's a generous nourishing freshly cooked traditional English roast. I really like this pub and want to come to the music nights next. See you again soon. Highly recommended for the Sunday fayre and not expensive.

Now under new management. Plans to restart food service particularly sunday lunches are welcome. The new bar staff are friendly and the beer is kept well. Worth finding a parking space for!
