First time. Staying the night on my own. Sit in my hotel room or go an explore. Saturday night. Place was bouncing. Very loud. No aggravation, just people enjoying themselves.
Came across this pub today in a moment of need due to unforeseen transport issues, the welcome from owners and staff members could not have been any better, they made us feel at home and helped us in our hour of need, food, coffee and cakes and even an offer of a bed to have a kip were offered without hesitation, thank you so much
Called in here on our cycle to London, and what a find! Very welcoming owners, great prices, friendly atmosphere and even had karaoke! Already planning my trip back. This is what a local pub should be like

Great night made to feel very welcome
Went here for a friend's 90th birthday. Had a band playing which was great. They have live music regularly, so will definitely visit again. Staff very efficient and friendly.
