   I was pleased with my visit and felt that the new dentist took time to get to know me (as it was my first visit since Helen’s retirement). What I would like to note is that the costs of treatments at the practice have reached ridiculous heights, to the point where I am considering leaving the practice (having been there for 30 years and being the third generation of my family to use this dentist). £430 for two fillings is absolutely absurd, private practice or not, especially when we pay £20 a month for DenPlan.

Huge thank you to Michael Cole — I’ve never felt so comfortable or relaxed in the chair. Professional, calming, and genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone with dental anxiety!

   I attended the Cottage Dental Practice yesterday on an emergency appointment as the result of a message I had left on Tuesday. I had an appointment within 2 hours of my message being listened to. I saw Miss Barlow who was thoroughly professional, friendly and kind. I had some work done and have another appointment in 2 weeks.

   A very thorough first examination on joining the practice. Additionally, I was given thorough information of the dental plans offered on how payment could commence easily, along with all the options. I had previously signed up and attended this practice, but was forced to leave when leaving the area and it becoming too far to travel. I got no surprises this time, as the service was every bit as relaxed and professional.

   Dr Barlow has always been excellent every time we visit. She explains the cause and treatment options with great clarity even to my teenagers. I have an older son with significant learning disabilities and autism and she always patiently manages to check his teeth and even got an upper mould done recently. We are very grateful to her and the efficiency of the Cottage Dental staff.
