This will be a little bit off extensive review based on several days of tasting the flavour that is O’niells Woking, as a male very clean toilets, venue always tidy and whenever i go in the “garden smoking area” oh so tidy. If a situation arises the staff are there. I want to give a special shout to Lauren, when me and my second Chef Luis came for a casual game of pool she was so professional that we felt like we are talking to a ref. Provided us with cold perfectly headed pints. This GM knows whats up. So to sum it all up in one sentance. Visit O’Niells Woking you’ll love it.

In Woking for a work trip. Just been to this pub for some food and a couple pints of Guinness. Nice burger. Let down by very bad customer service. Sat down at a table after ordering food to table 3. After a couple of minutes, was asked to move back a few tables as there was a band playing soon. Bit annoying but totally understandable, no problem. So I go back a few tables to the back area of the room. Burger and chips arrive and food is good. I go to buy another Guinness. Staff have been clearing tables, understood there’s a band playing and they want to clear the dance floor. One staff member comes to my table where I’m half way through a pint, and I can’t really hear what he’s saying as the music is so loud. He certainly doesn’t say he’s very sorry but he is asking me to move again. I told him I’m sitting there and want to finish my drink which I was half way through. I sit there for five minutes then get asked to move again by a different staff member. I then ask why they haven’t asked the couple sitting on the table in front, which is closer to the band stand. She mentions there is a sign saying the table get cleared at a certain time. I did not see this sign and it certainly wasn’t clear to me. If they are going to be so militant to ask you to move twice and disrupt you from enjoying your drink, then why not tell you before you order food that you have only got X amount of minutes before you’ll be asked to move? Or suggest a suggest area table where you will not be inconvenienced? Or how about just stop serving food if you’re not going to cater properly for it? Trying to do too much at once and disrespecting their paying customers, putting imaginary “future people on the dance floor” before current paying customers. You’d have thought they could read the room and at least let me finish my pint after asking me to move already and me giving them £25. It’s not what you say but the way you say it. Staff need to learn some basic customer service skills. “I’m really very sorry but we need to clear the tables for the dance floor, if you can please finish up your drink or don’t mind moving” simp stuff but too much to ask for apparently. Disrespectful to their own paying customers. Pretty extraordinary. Get your priorities straight and treat your paying customers better.

Very disappointed in the service here. Pub was practically empty around 6pm on a Sunday. We were a party of 6 and the customer service from the gentleman and pregnant lady was terrible. Ordered mojitos, the 2 for $13 cocktail deal. Was given lime juice and gin with no mint. When asked the gentleman stated they were out of mint. You would have thought they’d mention that before serving mojitos without mint? However, I said no problem and drank the first cocktail. Then asked the lady if it would be possible to swap the second drink for a different cocktail because it wasn’t a proper mojito and quite frankly.. disgusting. She stated would go and ask the kitchen. She returned with a plate of dried mint. Another person from our party ordered 2 Woo Woos and they tasted like water. Many member of our party have been to this pub before and spoke highly of it so we were excited to try. We are American so maybe that is why we were treated so poorly. I can only assume that is why and hope that those two don’t treat all of their customers that way.

Great place for sports, rugby one end football the other. Staff seemed to be friendly, however my family sorted out the afternoon requirements, beer, felt relaxed and the time went so quickly. We will be back soon. Keep the good work up.

NYE was amazing here! We reserved a table online and we’re greeted on arrival. The bar was quite busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The band were great and at midnight they did a count down and let off confetti! Thank you x x x x

This pub used to be a really great place... Once the hub of the town! - it ain't no more! This was a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon, and, a decent pint where the tide hasn't gone out would have been be good! Oh, and please sort out the pungent smell in the bar and remember to clear and wipe your sticky tables! Thanks in anticipation!

Went to watch the England game here …. What an incredible atmosphere, the pub was packed, we got drinks on the app, the drinks were served within minutes even though the bar was busy! After the game the music went up, The du is light a came on and we danced on the stage celebrating! Bloody brilliant Thanks to Lauren for looking after us!

Go for drinks at this place fine. But do not eat here. A quiet Monday night, me and one other person ordered some food. It took over an hour for any sign of food to head out way, and when the food came out the majority of it, was stone cold. So so disappointing. Unfortunately because we had waited over an hour, our cocktails had gone to our heads and we needed to eat to stop our stomachs from eating ourselves and to curb the fact we had to order more cocktails to keep us entertained, so we are cold food.
