   I loved my meal last night. I was made very welcome even as a solo diner. The real fire was a pleasant surprise. The food was good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend it

   Straight up down the middle review. Nothing spectacular here. Ordered the burger. Blanched and needed a bit longer on the grill to crisp up. Suspect that they don't move a lot of these and it was prepared from frozen. I would recommend not using grated cheddar cheese as a topping and a cheese with lower fat content, other melting cheeses such emmantel would be better. The coleslaw is used a lot on the menu and could do with a recipe change. It tasted like it came straight out of a massive batch tub from Booker's. Would prefer if they made it on site, if using a lot of it, making a batch every few days would improve the flavour and go down well with customers. Despite all this, there is talent in the kitchen and credit does need to be given, they can cook chips perfectly. These were great, everything you want, a great size, fluffy and hot n the inside with a great crispy coating and not greasy.

   This is the best Bar in Surbtion! Perfect food, comfortable environment. The locals are very friendly. Spacious garden. It's in beautiful surroundings close to the River Thames. The waiters and chefs are very friendly! This is my favorite bar. I would love to come here every week with the ones I love!

   We walked into the City Arms on a wet and gloomy day looking for some good food and atmosphere. What we got was an average Sunday Roast, it was good but average. We initially had a server who didn't seem very interested in us, however we then had a change in server and our second server was Fantastic. She was enthusiastic and made the rest of the afternoon much better. The building definitely gives you the whole old English Pub feel which was also great to see.
