Jodie & George are amazing owners at the eight bells pub, food, entertainment, staff and customers are friendly. Food is 5 stars, full plates and reasonably priced Well done to all for keeping venues like this open ❤️
Jodie & George always make you feel welcome, we are a large group of friends who gather every year for some Chris as Cheer, we asked Jodie very last minute if she could do a bit of a spread for us. And like the trooper she is, she delivered, the food was delicious, atmosphere was great with the addition of a live band. The Eight Bells is truly a lovely place to spend an evening. Thank you again Jodie, George and all your team. Merry Christmas, we'll be back again soon. X
We had a last-minute Sunday roast at the eight bells last week. We called and they fitted us in even though it was quite late in the day. We had an amazing roast which was plated but with extras on the table including a delicious cauliflower cheese. We had 2 young children with us and we were made to feel very welcome. A proper home cooked dinner. Will definitely be back!

We were really dissapointed with the pub. Just to clarify, we were visiting at a quiet time so it could be amazing on a Saturday night! On a Friday lunchtime the pub smelled bad. One side of the bar had a family in (no problem). The other side was dirty and looked like things had been dumped there from the other side of the bar while it was cleaned or something. We won't be back
Thank you to Chanelle & Shane for making our family Boxing Day meal for 11 great. Nothing was too much trouble. Food, service and the effort made to make us feel welcome will be hard to beat. Definitely recommend and will be booking again soon.
My son’s football team had their Christmas lunch at the 8 Bells and the food and service were excellent. The staff were very friendly and everyone had a great time. Many thanks to Chanelle and the team. Will definitely be back. Kind regards.
Had a joint wedding anniversary and birthday party for our son here in September. Couldn’t have had a better day / evening! Bouncy castle for the children and DJ (with good tunes!) in the evening! The staff made us all feel so welcome and couldn’t have done enough! A brilliant time had by all! Thanks so much x
Ok place, visited on a Sunday afternoon, was empty. Staff friendly though. Generally I don't mind a "lived" in pub but, it does need just a bit a spruce up. Tired looking place inside. With some nice historical features inside could be lovely. Good size garden.
