   We had a lovely time here at Harts. Food and drinks were great. Good portion sizes, the food was hot and the staff were very attentive. The only criticism would be that the spotlights are incredibly bright and harsh but that of course is no fault of the staff! Just maybe something that could be looked at,

   I really enjoyed the lunch here, it was busy but the staff were great and efficient. The pork roast was great along with the 3 meat roast. Fish and chips were good but not exceptional. Deserts were excellent!!

   Had a great Sunday lunch at Harts Boatyard. The riverside setting is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for a chilled afternoon. Food was tasty and well presented—classic pub dishes done right. Service was friendly and efficient, even though it was busy. Would definitely go back!

   We had dinner outside by the water. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was unexpectedly tasty and beautifully presented. The only downside is that you only see the waiter when the food is served — for cutlery, extra drinks, or order clarifications you need to go to the nice bar counter yourself. You can order via QR code, but that takes even longer.

   We went for a Sunday Roast. We got the trio of roasts and it was very good. However, the pork belly slice was tiny! It was a small cube of 1 inch by 1 inch - I do wished there would be more of that. The signature sodas were good too and the trio of desserts were also a great little treat for 2 to share. Overall, I would recommend!

   A struggle between 3* and 4* here. We came as three and found a perfect round table. The place is lovely, comfortable, and with excellent views. The food leaves a fair bit to be desired though. Nothing we had was “bad”, but was all lacking in some necessary aspect, and for some reason all startlingly salty! The miso glaze mushrooms were the best starter, while the fried salt and pepper squid were the saltiest example of the dish I’ve ever had. Roast chicken - nice skin and sauce, but dry dry dry. Pork belly - decent texture, but rock hard inedible skin placed like a hat on the meat. They could watch a few videos on fried pork belly and do that better. Fish - nicely fried and crispy skin, but a little small. The sausage with it was an inappropriate match, and was also cooked to desiccation. Blessedly little of it though.

   Booked online giving details of our visit and our celebrations and preferred seating! Brilliant seat looking out to river! Then Gemma our waitress introduced herself and she was amazing! Attentive but not overbearing or hovering over us! Food stunning! Then our desserts arrived with chocolate written Happy Birthday for my husband and I had the Happy Anniversary one! (Yes .....we did get married on his birthday!) Atmosphere and music great and sat outside by the river relaxing for a while after with drinks just relaxing! It was the day of the train strike and Uber and taxis letting us down but Siobhan stopped what she was doing to get us a cab firm and that was successful! I last came here many many years ago on the same date to celebrate and did not enjoy the experience at all.....sitting near to kitchen which had a swing door and heard shouting and offensive language every time that door opened which completely ruined our day so you can imagine it took a lot to come back....but took a chance again as heard through the grapevine how nice it is! So glad we did and look forward very much to further visits!! Thankyou again!
