As a frequenter of Premier Inns (PIs) throughout England, I was thoroughly impressed with PI Castleford. The customer service stood out despite the hectic Christmas period. For example, the goodie bags for children, the warm welcome each morning/evening and the kindness of staff. I especially appreciate the kindness of Sarah K.

Great service as ever. Sarah H is always so professional and caring. I saw this at first hand with how wonderfully she dealt with a child with ASD in the restaurant, just wonderful. Other staff were great as well. Location is a little noisy but hey you can't have everything for the price!!.

Good location, a bit old but served a purpose for a night. 2 staff waiting on dinner who were run off their feet as everyone arrived as soon as they opened we should have been asked to book rather than being told it wasn’t necessary. Food was ok, room were ok.

This Premier Inn remains my preferred choice due to the consistently high standard of service. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and obliging. On one occasion, I reported a fault with the aerial in my room (which I had inadvertently caused), and the matter was resolved immediately and without issue. The breakfast is of an excellent standard, comparable to — if not better than — many other hotels I have stayed in. The food is well presented, served piping hot, and of consistently good quality. Guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and maintained to a very high level of cleanliness. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this Premier Inn to both business and leisure travellers.

No problem parking. Nice welcome especially from Terri in the restaurant. The food was good both in the evening and at breakfast. The reason I give a three star score is because all the carpets both in the rooms and restaurant really need replacing - preferably with vinyl or laminate as they are all very tired. As are the chairs in the restaurant. My room was clean and the bed was super-comfy. Plenty of hot water and lots of lighting options. Everything you need for a stopover. I gave it four as the view was pretty boring being at the side but that really can’t be helped. I would definitely go back as it is in a great location to be able to spend a day at Junction 32 retail park.

Fantastic place to stay but you have to take a shower in the bath if your disabled then the bath is too high to get a shower Its a pity all hotel rooms have just showers. Hair dryers in the room. For £10 the breakfast in the morning is well worth Choice of 4 cereals, fresh fruit, toast crumpets, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms Black pudding, beans, eggs, bacon, sausages, if you want eggs or scrambled no trouble for them to do it choice of pastries, pan chocolate, muffins etc Beds are fantastic best sleep I've had in a hotel for ages. Only thing to get tv channels are very hard to get. Tea Coffee making facilities

The staff at this hotel were great.. really enjoyed having a joke with them. I would have given it 5 stars but the room was red hot, I turned the heating to air con to cool the room but I am presuming it being winter it is turned off. You can't open a window with being so close to the road but can't hear anything with them shut

Didn't really get much sleep because of all the noise from upstairs and when the cars go past. However the service was nice. Elevators a bit cramped for the disabled. Food is delicious. Cleaning is ok but could be improved.

All as you would expect from a premier Inn, clean rooms, comfy bed ect. Untill breakfast, children- 1 in particular throwing everything in sight on the floor, which seemed to be encouraged by one member of staff, who appeared to find it funny. Then, what I would describe as the breakfast manager (dressed more formal than the other staff) started to clear tables that had been empty for some time, but when she dropped some items, rather than stopping and picking them back up... Proceeded to kick them all the way back into the kitchen door- joking with the other guests it was an easier way of working! Would we return?, probably not!

Not too sure on this Premier Inn , sometimes wonder how people even got hired for a job in ‘’customer service’’ When I checked in there were 3 young girls in reception and they were polite and happy to help. Later discovered the heating never came on - bear in mind we did pay for a Premier Plus room. Went down to reception a couple of hours later and must of been shift change , I had advised the receptionist the heating had not came on , a lady was helpful and gave us her apologies but every-time she has asked him if there was a problem he just shrugged his shoulders and pulled a face saying ‘’no.’’ Very very unprofessional and rude. I can understand there might have been an issue with the heating but he just did not seem to care. I had forgotten my key card when entering the hotel , he walked from reception to the front door to let me In , i asked him a question and he stared at me and said ‘’yep’’ Just don’t understand why you would get a ‘’customer service’’ job if it is not something you’re willing to take into consideration that you have to be polite and professional to customers / guests. Maybe the older generation discriminate young people. The younger generation was more polite and that is saying something!
