The comedy nights here are excellent. They also hold loads of other events in the upstairs function room. Itβs a great pub.

Lovely looking large pub, great prices for food and drinks, large screens for football, staff very friendly. Burger, chips and Guiness for Β£10.99 South of the boarder is rare, so a good find. Going back tomorrow Sunday lunch, reccommended.

Huge pub, beautiful outside areas! Very nice, local, friendly vibe! Great staff, helpful, friendly and kind. Busy but still felt spacious. Great for sports as they cater for all games. The outside garden, is just breathtaking, big and so pretty and with a huge screen too. Food was okβ¦good value for money but not my thing but definitely filled the gap! Will be back!

Although the staff were really nice and professional, the food and price let it down. I had a expensive sirloin stake with chips, rocket and onion rings. The stake was done as I asked (medium rare), but it was chewy and cold. Two very small onion rings were hiding under some burned rocket leafs. Why didn't I complain? I was with friends and didn't want to fuss over it.

Another great night here, itβs the staff that really make it, special shout out to Dom and Freya who looked after us. Dry rose is organic and delicious and food was good and reasonably priced. Live music a bonus with a lovely atmosphere.

A nice pub. Despite it being big, it still maintains an efficient friendly atmosphere. We regularly attend social events held in the quirky function room upstairs. Staff are good at their jobs and are always polite with the service provided. OK, because of this pub's size it won't ever be described as cosy, but it does strike the right balance by treating it's customers well.

Good service,& managed to find seat on a busy Saturday night. Bit noisy, but this is to be expected with screens showing football & rugby. Good pint of tribute real ale!

Recently attended a Charity Quiz Night at The Station. Extremely friendly staff (particularly Lee who went out of his way to assist) great atmosphere! Plenty of alcohol beverages to suit all choices

My family and I went for Sunday lunch. The Green King app would not allow us to pay so there was a kerfuffle at the till, which to be fair, was not the fault of the pub and one of the staff did all he could to help. When our drinks came, one had been forgotten. The starters were tasty but the dirty crockery was just left on the table. After our mains had been brought out the server asked did we need anything else so we asked that the dirty starter plates be taken away. My wife had the roast beef and although the food was hot and the vegetables delicious, the beef was like shoe leather. It must have been the scrag end, perhaps all that left as we arrived about 2.30. Finally, my son's partner felt a drop of water and looked up to see a large damp patch on the ceiling above her. We called this to the waiter's attention all he did was mumble something about yeah, that needed seeing to. All in all, this was not the worst pub I have been to but it certainly was not one of the best.
