We hosted our 30-year High School reunion here on October 10, 2025, and Ben and his team were absolutely fantastic! From my very first email (I was planning everything from the US!), Ben was responsive, helpful, and beyond accommodating. When our numbers grew from 85 to 120, he didn’t blink—just adjusted the plan and made it all work seamlessly. He even created a bespoke Pub Trivia for our group, which sadly we were too rowdy to play, but the thought and effort meant so much. And the food… honestly, incredible! Ben stretched my budget farther than I thought possible, and everyone raved about the food all weekend. The Carlton Tavern is perfect whether you’re after a cozy dinner for two (seriously, the food!) or planning a big celebration. Forever grateful to Ben and the whole team for such a memorable night!

The food and atmosphere here is outstanding and reasonably priced, loved the appetizer special. Definitely try their Scotch Egg. Highly recommend grabbing a table in the beer garden and eating here, will definitely be back!

Very cool pub! Chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked, rabbit rague pappardelle was delicious. They have the happy hour menu and appetizing sandwiches uptil 4pm on weekdays. Wide selection of alcoholic drinks, of course. Plenty of seating space inside and outside and the bartender lady was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

Great neighborhood pub with a relaxing garden. This is an ideal place to visit when I want to leave my flat but not go that far. Next to Paddington Rec so ultra-convenient if you have the dog with you or out for a walk by yourself.

Our go to place for a delicious Sunday roast! Visited The Carlton Tavern many times and it never disappoints! My fav item on the menu is the sticky toffee pudding and I will always have space for dessert and order it. Their Sunday roast is delicious and flavourful paired with sides like sweet potato fries w aioli, mac and cheese and cauliflower cheese!

Period pub from the 1920s, although it was illegally demolished 2015 and the local authority made the developer rebuild it exactly as it was before. It's now reopened and is clearly really popular. Good range of beers, in listing local London beers.

Lovely pub which was rebuilt after being illegally demolished. Visited one warm Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed a couple of good beers. Staff was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable on the beers served, which is always a plus point when you're not sure on which of the available choices you want. Will definitely be back!

Great pub. The food was tasty. We had the fish & chips (good portion) & Pig cheeky pappardelle (big portion).
