Lovely little pub to visit if in St Johns Wood, welcoming staff with a cosy fire and lots of different seating options.

The service was spectacular. The person working on Sunday the 9th of November was really helpful and kind. The food was tasty and the pub overall really cosy.

It’s a little quieter than pubs on Johns Wood high street. However they were clearly understaffed for a relatively quiet crowd. Only one person behind the bar and one chef. So Sunday roast was off (unless you had ordered in advance). We ordered Chicken Schitzel and a classic burger instead. Food was good. Nice outside sitting area - some in the sun, some shade.

Menu was small, but nice. Inside is comfortable - the night we were there it was not busy so did not have a buz. They have seats outside if the weather is nice and the street is not a busy one. Prior reviews mentioned the wine by glass was only British, which we thought was nice, but possibly expensive (we had just come from Spain to be fair). Was a nice meal and I’d recommend.

Nestled in the back streets wouldn’t have thought I’d stumble on a Sammy smiths pub. Lovely front and back beer garden with their typical drinks and quiet ambiance. Food was quite pricey for what it was otherwise decent and would recommend.

Very cute pub in st johns wood. Quiet, with no TV blaring, lovely atmosphere . However, this was the smallest portion of chips I've ever been served in a pub in London and it took 40 mins to get our food (hamburger + pie&mash) which werent that great either. It's unlikely I'll be back

My local pub!! Such a great place for a few cheeky drinks. Food is amazing & generous portions. Atmosphere is very relaxed and chilled - not noisy at all!! Staff are so friendly especially Alex. Very clean at all times which nowadays is always a plus plus and theres more than enough seating inside & outside. Definitely recommend.
