Super accomodating landlord / manager. We just ran in our the rain & fancied watching the F1. He bent over backwards to seat us by a screen with volume & heaters. Wouldn't even accept a tip. Great pub
Love this friendly comfortable pub. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and not too pricey. I also love the retro decoration. Just what a pub should be.
As I waited for my train at West Croydon station, directly across the road was the well appointed pub "The Old Fox and Hounds." A quick online search reveals its been around since the 1800's and likely was involved in Fox hunting nearby in those days. In modern times its on a very busy street, and even though I didn't have time to down a pint, I still popped inside to sample the ambiance.
Not been here for years. Came in for a few beers with a friend, a fantastic Pub and it has a fantastic beer garden. We didn't eat, but the Guinness and the staff were great. Thank you.

Old fashioned pub, non Irish. A pub full of oldies. But the environment is great. They don’t have to much variety of beers. Prices a bit high compare to Wetherspoon music

Best beer garden in Croydon? Friendly clientele. A pub where everyone is welcome, according to a fun group of mates I bantered with just briefly ❤️ Charmed by the massive hanging flower baskets and the calm atmosphere ❤️ Great location to continue composing my stand-up comedy routine. Been working on that for donkey’s years. Streuth! P.S. they were playing my favourite radio station Magic 105.4. Gutted that I missed breakfast with Ronan. :(
The fox and hound is a traditional Irish style pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Beers such as Stella, Guinness ect. No craft beers but good draft. this keeps the pub affordable. Karaoke on a Friday nights and live music on a Saturday. The Wolfe tones often play here.
