Had a great evening at the Grenadier together with my colleague. The Filet Wellington was very tasty and they have a good selection of beers. Staff is super friendly and attentive. The crowd was also very cheerful and nice which added to the great atmosphere of this location. Definitely visiting again!

Moreover, the food was absolutely delicious, offering a delightful culinary journey. The entire experience was a testament to the location's charm and appeal.

I chose this restaurant because they offer the most affordable Beef Wellington I could find in London — a good starting point to try this iconic dish for the first time! Coincidentally, it’s Mid-Autumn Festival right now. In Việt Nam, we eat bánh trung thu - mooncakes during this time. I realized that Beef Wellington and mooncakes actually share a similar concept — both are savoury fillings wrapped in pastry — so it felt like the perfect time to give it a try during my vacation. The Wellington itself was tasty. The pastry was crisp, and the beef was cooked well. At certain bites, it had a rich, almost liver-like texture and flavor, which made it feel quite indulgent. The jerusalem artichoke purée and veal jus were a bit too savoury for my taste, but overall, the flavours worked nicely together. We arrived at 6:30 PM without a reservation and couldn’t get a table, but the bartender was very helpful and set up chairs for us at the bar. It ended up being a cozy spot to enjoy the meal. Overall, I had a great experience at The Grenadier. A nice place for first-timers to try Beef Wellington.

Too touristy. Scallop appetizer was soaked in butter. Beef Wellington was okay, vegetables were undercooked. We asked for a plain, no seasoning hake with plain, no seasoning chips, and received them both with salt and pepper. Hard to get your daughter to eat them when she doesn’t like the taste of either (salt and pepper) and can see them on both items. I would not recommend or go out of my way to eat there. We were looking forward to it being a highlight and were disappointed after experiencing it.

The restaurant is located next to numbers of embassies, and amazing park. The food taste itself was amazing, and the lighting and atmosphere were perfect Special thanks to Kata. The service she provided was exceptional. She tried to see what’s going on our table, asking about the food taste or needs. I strongly recommend this wonderful place to others.

Very nice quaint pub nestled in the back streets near Belgravia square. It did not seem to have an easy entrance for those physically challenged as is the case with many historic pubs in London so be aware. It felt like the local area was not even in London, I felt I was in a countryside public house. Very nice change to some of the other pubs I’d visited earlier in the day and definitely more upscale. The pub itself was very nice inside and definitely worth a stop if in the area. Mostly folk seem to be west Londoners from the accents the day we visited for a few pints. It was quite busy so we skipped dinner but in retrospect I think that was a mistake as the food here gets high ratings, so next time I likely will have a meal. The staff who served us were very efficient. Finally, the beer was exceptional, they have a namesake best bitter which I’d recommend, very drinkable! I would recommend stopping by!

Beautiful, small mews pub, steeped in history. Apparently a former Army Officers’ Mess. Came here to avoid the crowds at the weekend of our late Queen’s funeral. Off the beaten track, so definitely more of a locals’ pub than a tourists’ pub. Lovely zinc bar and a good choice of cask and keg. Enjoyed a couple of pints of well-kept Landlord. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very nice pub with pretty good food and a lovely atmosphere. The pub is really nice, has a traditional feeling to it as it is quite small and feels authentic. Nice staff and good drinks. Food is pretty good, burger a bit dry and the beef wellington, at £32 probably isn’t worth it, but pork and chicken roast were good. Recommended for a nice drink

One of the best secret pubs in London. We stumbled upon it on the way back to our hotel, and had dinner there. Great vibe - locals and students frequent it, and you can't blame them - the place is fantastic from the food to the service to the decor. Ceiling is covered with paper money. It almost make you feel like you go back in time. A wonderful experience.

Out of the way gem of a bar that's tucked away in a seemingly residential corner of London. Incredibly friendly staff! Great selection of beer and cider. Great bar eats! Highly recommend trying the Scotch eggs! Be sure to look up while you're there. The ceiling is also covered in dollar bills with little messages written on them.
