What a great find! The friendliest and most thoughtful Staff. We were made very welcome - 4 adults & 3 excited children. Nothing was too much trouble, the babyβs dairy allergy was treated with knowledge and care. Food was pretty good but, to be honest, it barely mattered as the service was exemplary! Good job guys!

Really nice place where you can enjoy British cuisine. Service was very good and everything was great.

The Paxton's Head is an oasis of calm amongst the busy thrall of Knightsbridge. You wouldn't know it was only a stones throw from Harvey Nicks and Harrods. We popped in for lunch with my family and our mini Schnauzer (yes dog friendly!) and we're impressed by the really friendly and efficient service, a good varied menu (not just pub grub) and confortable clean tables. With a large downstairs area too this place is much larger inside than you might imagine. We love discovering new pubs and this Greene King hostalary did not disappoint and we'll definitely be back.

We are from out of the country and we wanted to eat at a traditional pub. This place was great and the menu had the couple things we wanted to try (steak n' ale pie and fish n' chips). Both dishes were great. Place is kid friendly and also offers a kids menu. If we lived in the London area, we would return.

If youβre not from around here and are looking for a classic English pub experience with amazing service, this is the place to go. The interior is stunningβthe bar itself is situated in the middle of the restaurant and has these beautiful details in the dark wood arches, decorated with mood lighting and greenery lining the top of the beams. It is dark and cozy indoors, but the service is incredibly warm and inviting. The GM (I presume) was attentive and stopped to ask if I had been served while I was standing at the bar waiting for my drink. I could tell she was also busy with other tables too and some pubs, in cases like these, often leave guests ignored. This was not the case here. I ordered two sides and a Panoma drinkβwhich all tasted greatβand wanted a sauce to go with my triple cooked chips. I asked about a specific sauce and the servers went above and beyond to answer my queries. They were very sweet. The entire experience was very pleasant for me and was exactly what I was looking for in a pubβsome quiet time to myself with a drink and some snacks, but also enjoying the classic English interior. I hope this place never closes down because I will be back with friends and family if I ever visit London again!

Atmosphere is typical English pub. There are multiple stories, but the bar downstairs was not open when we were there, so had to go upstairs to order drinks and food and then traverse back down the spiral staircase to our table. Not sure if it was just the day we were there, but service was really off that night. They were nice, but struggling to move with any pace. Either way, the light bar food was tasty. Enjoyed the company, but canβt say there was anything about this place that would bring me back. Also, bathrooms were a wreck.

Brilliant pub. I was meaning to go here a few years back but for whatever reason a didn't make it and promptly forgot about it until I stumbled across it again and decided to give it a go. I was NOT disappointed. Absolutely love the place. It is a greene king chain place however don't let that put you off because it really does maintain it's own individual character inside. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Drinks were reasonable priced and perfectly done. We didn't have any food so can't comment on that but if like to go back again and some point and when I do I'll try the food. Located in Knightsbridge,a couple of minutes walk from the underground. A nice open fire, downstairs area where the football was on, upstairs has the most stunningly etched windows, it really is a beautiful place. Highly recommend it.

Local pub, with typical English atmosphere. 2 big rooms with lots of tables. Screen to watch games and darts game. Food is disappointing and we had to wait almost an hour to get cold burger and sandwiches. Would recommend to have a beer and watch a game, definitely not to eat.

I like this pub with its quieter footfall than than other nearby Knightsbridge Pubs. I've never been a big fan of Greene King Ales though and again, despite trying them like on fifty different occasions, I still find them a bit insipid and devoid of interesting flavours. But hey, maybe that's just me. Back to the pub. Food was good and service was good. Cannot complain about the pub itself, just a mild complaint about the beer. Thumbs up and follow for more reviews guys!
