We look all over London for a traditional pub that offered pies. We found the Windmill Mayfair over google. When we arrived every table was reserved but barkeeper made it possible for us to get a table so we could try the pies. The pies where so good we reserved a table for another dinner in the Windmill Mayfair. And again the pies where delicious. We told the staff when we return to London we will definitely reserve a table again!!! Super service, great atmosphere and a great pub.

A fantastic pub with a really good feel to it, great staff and even better food. Came here with my sister who had been many times before and the Sunday dinner with a steak and mushroom pie was outstanding. Big chunks of steak that just melted, veg and roasties cooked perfectly and the portion size was massive. I couldn't finish mine, leaving a few mouthfuls and joked to my sister that I need my bed. You couldn't write this, and I'm not kidding but as we were leaving there was a bloke lying down on the bench by one of the tables! Credit to our waiter/server too (Patrikas) who was very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to return to battle another pie!

What a lovely pub! The setting is charming and the food was absolutely delicious. The pies were a standout! Huge thanks to Andrea, our waiter, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. That’s exactly how service should be. Highly recommended, and I honestly can’t wait to go back

Magnificent experience at The Windmill. The place is very charming, with great music and excellent quality food! I had a delicious pie served with excellent potatoes and a sensational sticky toffee pudding. Even if you feel full, I highly recommend trying the dessert because it’s exceptional. We were served by Patrikas, whose kindness and warm hospitality made my experience even more unforgettable. Highly recommended!

what a treat! i went with my husband and sister and we all loved it. charming, cozy, and warm. several floors of seating and a roof top terrace. we shared the pumpkin soup. i don’t usually like pumpkin but this was the soup was amazing! i will be trying to recreate it when i get back to the states. we each got a steak pie, i had steak and stilton, they had steak and mushroom. all were great. for dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream. again, amazing! special shout out to our server, Karol, who went above and beyond to make our visit so great and his beer suggestions were top notch. would absolutely visit again

One of the best restaurants for authentic English food. Perhaps the best Shepherd's Pie that you can find in UK. The food, service and ambience was great. Friendly and warm staff. Loved each of the dishes we ordered. Enjoyed their Ale. Will surely recommend.

A very lively British pub in the heart of Mayfair that specialises in Pies! I had the fish and chips which was a huge portion, fish is coated in a light crispy batter but I found it a bit oily. Super enjoyed the mashed peas and the thick cut fries was yummy. The burger and shepherds pie was also very delicious. However the soup, was too thick and hard to swallow, could not finish. Overall a decent place to hang out and chug down some pints! Fast, friendly and efficient service! Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambiance : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Game and mushroom pie was excellent, the carrots and onions slow cooked and sweet, a great complement to the richly flavored venison. The Scotch egg was something else, too, with a deliciously creamy yolk and a toothsome crust. And the ales? Yes, indeed, and quite refreshing. Friendly, welcoming staff, as well.

Lovely friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The downstairs room we were in was well air conditioned which was a god send giving how hot it was that day!! It gets busy after work with everyone spilling out onto the street to get some sunshine. The chicken and leak pie that I had was extremely good and the pastry was really well made, however, the meat in steak and mushroom pie was a little on the chewy side which was a shame. The scotch egg starter was delicious and I could have easily eaten a plate of them. Good selection of traditional pub food, wines and beers available.

Came here for a good pie and that is what I got! Had the chicken and leek with chips. Very satisfying! And had their sticky toffee pudding which is amazing! Highly recommend and would eat here again. Also the staff was amazing. Did not catch the lady's name but blondie with the hot pink blazer is a gem! Thank you!
