A lovely, friendly cosy little pub, with a real homely feel. I say little but they managed to comfortably accommodate 15 of us for Christmas roast. The service and food were brilliant, (height on the Yorkshires!) we were made to feel very welcome, this is a gem, we will be coming back!

We have family who lives in London and have visited at least 10 times over the past 10 years and have eaten at a great many restaurants and pubs. The meal we had tonight at The Windsor Castle was the best we have had in London. The cauliflower and chicken appetizers were both done gluten free to accommodate my daughter and were outstanding. My wife's fish and chips were perfectly crispy outside and moist inside and my lamb rump roast and all 4 sides could have been from a fine dining restaurant costing more than twice as much. I will be telling our family about it and would highly recommend it.

This is my very favourite pub! It is by no means our local and is actually a real pain to get to from where we live but we constantly find ourselves making the effort for this lovely establishment! The food is top tier, the crab rarebit especially is to die for! The owners are tirelessly cheerful, welcoming and friendly and the pub is so charming. Couldnβt recommend highly enough!

How lucky are we to have this brilliant pub as our local? The food is fantastic. Seasonal, fresh with heaps of choice. Looking forward to moving inside from the gorgeous garden to the cosy seating for winter. Suppers with the family or drinks with friends we always enjoy ourselves.

Great atmosphere and good food. Recently enjoyed a meal here and was impressed by the quality and service. Owners have done a great job with the place and I look forward to coming back soon.

Used the pub twice with the old management . Couldnβt drink in there anymore, the carpet and seats were filthy didnβt feel that it was a clean place to sit and enjoy a drink. Now the pub he is sparkling clean and has a lovely lovely outside garden space for the summer time. The inside is simply beautiful . And spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly staff . An absolute pleasure to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine This tiny little pub itβs a little gem.

Really nice local pub. It has been recently refurbished but clearly done with consideration for the character of the building. Itβs small and cosy and the service was friendly and smiley by the co-owner woman. No food served yet but they advised early 2023 the kitchen should be up and running. Beer selection was good with some nice IPAs on tap. We will definitely be returning to support these local businesses.

I was devastated to stop by for a pint at this once brilliant traditional pub to see that it is sadly in the process of being destroyed in favour of a modern refurbishment. Traditional fixtures being ripped out, along with the heart and soul. I guess thatβs my last visit to The Windsor Castle. For those searching for a replacement local pub with its character still in tact Iβd recommend the Famous Royal Oak in Muswell Hill. Hopefully one day breweries and publicans will stop turning warm and friendly public houses into brightly lit bars that resemble student unions. We are losing far too many good pubs to this trend.
