Old & historic food & drinks venue I have been going to for years. Food is great staff are friendly especially in the dining area.food was great and it’s a lovely little cosy place.. In summer the beer garden is perfect. Great for togethers & celebrations. Staff have always been accommodating.parking is easy so you can sit,relax & enjoy your time there
So so delighted to have hosted my baby shower at the Cherry tree! The food, space and service was amazing, just perfect for what I needed. We had a buffet menu and the food was so tasty, all our guests left so happy. Penny was super helpful from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this cozy pub for intimate gatherings or just popping in for dinner! Love love love, thank you Penny!
Absolutely gorgeous pub with a very warm and welcoming vibe. We hosted our baby shower here and Penny was so kind and helpful. She helped me with the booking and answered all my questions very patiently and promptly. We were allowed to decorate the space and bring our own cake, which was fantastic. All our friends had a wonderful time. The food was good and was served warm and fresh. The staff was kind and polite. We'll definitely recommend this pub for parties or a general visit.
My experience here was lovely. There was a warm welcoming fire place and a rustic Tudor style building made it feel homely. The waitress was very helpful and there was a clear allergens guide for our gluten free diner. The food came promptly and the plates were hot. All of the food was delicious and I will be visiting again.
Called in as I was passing and thoroughly enjoyed the two pints of Atlantic. The barrel had to be changed for the second, but the barman brought it over to the table rather than have me wait at the bar, which was a good touch. Was very busy for a Saturday afternoon, which is obviously a very good endorsement. Will call in again even if not just passing
Nice place but TERRIBLE service! The woman got the whole order wrong, we had to repeat 3 times and she never got our drinks! Fish for kids is super oily Adult pizza is filled with semolina and tasteless (wouldn’t even call it Italian or American style) The mushroom starter tastes old Toilets had no toilet paper The 2* are just got the tables, atmosphere but would not recommend.
Festive food for everyone ! This is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are so friendly and accommodating ! Andrea in particular was so wonderful, so kind! We even got Christmas crackers ! Definitely recommend !
A beautiful welcoming pub all year round and one well worth seeking out. We only stumbled upon it a few years ago whilst out for a wander. Relax in the large garden during the summer or get warm by the open fire during the colder months. Good selection of drinks and the food is excellent, my girls particularly enjoy the Sunday lunches served there. Large carpark and an unassuming Travelodge next door mean you can make a stay of it! One of my favourites pubs in the local area.
Lovely place. Great out door garden. Inside very cosy. Great staff. There was a bad smell outside but I'm sure that couldn't be helped. Other than that. Lovely place. Will definitely go back.
