Only visited once while down there for work, but the lady behind the bar was lovely and all the locals were really friendly and chatty, proper local pub that made us feel welcome.
It had a few dart boards, personally that means it's perfect.
Called in for a few drinks while in the area. This is a "proper" old school pub which is rare these days! The lady serving was lovely and helped us with some local knowledge of bars in the area. Good pint of Guinness
