Disappointed After a Promising Start At first, we found Nolan’s Pub and absolutely loved it β€” the vibe was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the games (like pool) made it a really fun, welcoming place. We were genuinely excited and even decided we’d make it our regular local pub. However, to our surprise, we had a very upsetting experience recently. We came in, looking forward to a pint and a game of pool, and brought our newborn along with us. As we walked in, a woman who introduced herself as the owner, β€œMrs. Nolan,” immediately told us β€” very abruptly and rudely β€” that no babies were allowed. We were shocked at how she spoke to us, especially since we had been there before with children during the day and were told by the staff that kids were welcome, with the reasonable condition that they leave by 7 PM. What was most hurtful, though, was the manner in which we were addressed. It felt dismissive and unnecessarily hostile. Given the tone and the fact that our baby is of a different race, we were left feeling deeply uncomfortable and offended. We sincerely hope this wasn’t a factor, but the way we were treated raised serious concerns. Sadly, we won’t be returning. What began as a favorite local spot turned into a very disappointing and upsetting experience.

There's nothing like a good chat over a pint in a wecoming pub. Nolans has this going on at tables, in front of two darts boards, over a pool table and at the bar. Clearly pub sports are a big deal here: there's a shelf of trophies above one darts board. Several more commorative plate style trophies live behind the bar. Nolans is a privately owned and friendly Irish pub. It's not far from Nine Elms and in the hinterland of Vauxhall. The pub's not huge, but is well stocked. There's a small collection of alcohol free bottled beers and also some bottled ales under the bar. Glad to have visited here, it's another quality individual local pub.

Nolan's, a small community pub on the corner of Wilcox and Northingon roads. A simple, Irish? themed pub. I just looked like a simple local to me. There is a small but diverse offering of keg beers and ciders. Nothing for the real ale girls and boys though. Friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a pint in here. A fun place to visit

A busy traditional pub with Irish roots and friendly staff, though these days it's more of a popular haunt for students.
