Walked into Twelve Pins and the manager was standing right by the door asking to look in our bags before we’d even stepped fully inside. We sat down and ordered a couple of soft drinks, but shortly after she came over and told us that if we didn’t order more alcoholic drinks we’d have to leave because she had “five staff and a commercial licence to pay.” We don’t drink alcohol, so we ordered a couple more soft drinks just to avoid any issues, but then she kept hovering and even tried to clear our half-full glasses to rush us along. From looking at other reviews, it seems we’re not the only ones who’ve had issues with her attitude and lack of customer service. Really disappointing experience - won’t be returning.

Stopped at this pub on route to the Spurs vs Chelsea game the other day. Excellent vibe and they show a variety of sports. The food was very good. I had the roast lamb which was on the specials board.

No-frills big pub (sticky floor and fast service), good for live sports, many screens, plus one big one, hung high enough for short people too. £4 for a pint of soft drink.

We cam down for an Arsenal match and did the stadium tour. While there, one of the grounds staff recommended the Twelve Pins so my came along on Friday for a few drinks and a meal (grear fish and chips by the way) and a few drinks. Then we came back on Sunday to have a few drinks and watch some more football on the big screen. Lovely pub with friendly staff. Good range of beers too.

Great seating area at the front and a short walk to the Emirates so ideal before or after the game, and the best Guinness In London

A big pub next to Finsbury Park station. The 12 pins is a good welcoming establishment offering a wide range of keg beers and ciders. A fine pub menu too, particularly the chalkboard featuring today's specials. Plenty of empty plates heading back to the kitchen. No cask ales visible. A good place to visit unless you are after real ales. Certainly a lovely place to have a pint and food.

Don’t go here. The landlady is so rude. We walked into the pub to watch the football and found an empty table near the big screen. We ordered 3 non-alcoholic drinks (lime and soda) and were told if we don’t order alcohol we need to move because we have “the best seats in the house”. We then had to ask around if anyone wanted to swap seats and everyone thought it was ridiculous and discriminatory. Nobody even wanted our seats. We then sat in an empty booth and was told that was for 8 people only. It’s not like we were drinking tap water, we were buying something they were selling but because it wasn’t alcoholic they wanted us to hide from plain sight. We should be allowed to enjoy the atmosphere of football in a pub without being forced to drink alcohol.

Older manager lady was clearly racist. Came in to watch the Arsenal game with my friends and before halftime the woman came up to me and told me I had to buy a drink if I wanted to stay there. I looked around and saw many people without drinks in hand, but maybe because I was the only black person. I told her I didn’t drink and she brought up the fact they had food and soft drinks, but when my friend asked the bar for a club soda earlier they didn’t have any. My friend who is white and from London got so uncomfortable with her approaching me the way she did that he wanted to leave. Don’t go here
