   We had a fantastic afternoon at the White Lion. Harry and his team looked after us so well and the food was absolutely delicious. The space at the back of pub works really nicely for a larger group without upsetting the cool vibe of the pub. Highly recommended for a pint and some food (and also works great for larger groups)

   We stopped in for a spontaneous Saturday lunch. Most tables were reserved but luckily a few were free. The food and service was excellent, the friendly staff made us both feel really welcome. Great atmosphere and christmas decorations too

   What a lovely pub....my friend and I had a delicious roast followed by a delicious dessert. Was surprised by the quality of the food roast potatoes amazing and sides of cauliflower cheese delicious...service amazing made welcome and very attentive nothing was a problem not that we had to ask for anything as all expectations met. We were so comfortable we stayed for a few hours chatting. Will be a go to for a roast! Also a while ago had fish n chips which was equally as delicious. Well done white lion

   I visited White Lion on Wednesday 5th of October with my friend, I hadn't been here before. I could not be happier with my visit, not only because of the excellant food, but the member of staff (young boy) who served us downstairs was amazing, He was so polite and friendly. He made you feel so welcome.I will go back again not doubt about it. We ordered starters and main: Ramen Chicken Burger and Plant based Burger, food was outstanding!!! Chef have made an amazing job and I think he deserves reward. Thanks you for a pleasant experience, will see you soon.
