Too long to get served when a load of you take over. Decent pint of Guinness like even if it was in a Poretti glass n the price for London was spot on.
I’ve walked past this place every day for a year, always noticing it being cleaned early in the mornings — which I took as a good sign. On a hot day, my mum and I finally decided to step inside, and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff (as well as the people in the pub) were so nice and friendly.
A traditional pub, with a legendary landlady. Reasonable prices , clean.
Excellent pub that hasn't changed in years and the locals like it like that obviously. Barman was really friendly and we had great seats and space to watch the Arsenal match in comfort. Quite nice tunes were played earlier too on the jukebox. Di and would definitely return. Ah..good prices too! Makes a change from the rip off prices you get in London. A 10!
Classic and lively. Came in here for a half after finding out our previous destination was closed. Pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff and the excitable mixed crowd doing karaoke and dancing away. The classic gratis pub sandwiches showed up at one point. Would recommend for a cheery pint on Blackstock Road
I don't come here for the football and never on a match day but always stop for a few drinks when I'm in the area. Welcoming and friendly locals and staff who like a natter every time I have visited and the beers on tap are well kept. A great pub, even if like me, you're not an Arsenal fan.
Best pub I've found for ages! We went to another round the corner and thought it was a bit crammed and rowdy and then found this gem. Boxing on the telly, Prince on the jukebox, cracking staff and clientele. We had a great night, and enjoyed the live music as well! Will definitely be back, pubs like this are a dying breed. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
A decent pub. It's rare to find a well pulled pint for less that £4.50 in London and in a glass on matchdays. They always have the football on so worth a visit
Great local pub, friendly, shows the sport, darts, free sandwiches sometimes. (Cash only!)
