My favourite burger in London! It is worth the hype. The patty is still thick and the balance of the pickles and sauce with the fat from the burger and bread. Chefs kiss. Also so cute, they serve it on a tea plate. They don’t open their kitchen on game days.

Visited at 12pm on a Friday afternoon and was seated without a reservation. The pub was empty on arrival but began to fill up quite quickly. Wanted to try the renowned burger and it was very tasty. The crispy onions and sweet pickles added some nice flavour and texture. Also ordered the fried potatoes as a side but felt these could’ve been cooked a little longer so didn’t end up finishing them. It’s an open kitchen and given it’s an old pub there isn’t much ventilation. So it ended up getting very hot with smoke and smells from the kitchen filling the air. Not the most pleasant dining experience. Less said about quality/cleanliness of the toilets, the better. Overall, a very tasty burger that lives up to the hype and is worth trying if you’re in the neighbourhood. But as an overall dining experience for a quick lunch, I’m not sure the quality or value warrants going out of your way for!

Such a cool place! Great laid-back atmosphere - it was really nice to escape the tourist crowds and enjoy something so chill. The food was super tasty - not gourmet, but everything was simply delicious. The burger was honestly top - not huge, but simple, fresh, and so good (just the way we like it). Prices are very reasonable, and all the small and big dishes we shared were fresh and amazing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to in London. Thanks, TikTok, for leading us here! ;)

Lovely, homely bar that serves delicious comfort food at reasonable prices. Temper your expectations coming here -don’t come to the plimsoll and expect Michelin quality food - instead come for delicious, homely versions of classic menu items. The cheeseburger was delicious - won’t blow your mind, but lovely salty flavours and super tender meat. The potatoes were also good - crunchy texture and roasted nicely A 5 pound pint never goes astray either. All in all a good meal in a nice bar, would come back!

The waiting staff were amazing, friendly and went above and beyond, even bringing us extra curry mayo (freaking delicious). The chefs were smiley and clearly very passionate about making every plate exceptional, you could literally taste the love. I’ve been following Four Legs for a while now, watching the Plimsoll renovation and finally making it down from Norfolk to enjoy the experience. It was everything I wanted and more, deffo a few ‘this is the best burger I’ve ever eaten’ comments from our table and the clams were bloody incredible. So was the duck and the potatoes and absolutely everything for that matter. Thanks guys, keep smashing it and I hope to be back very soon. Xx

Lovely dog friendly pub with banging food. The burger is 10/10 but everything we ate was so good. The staff were great and attentive. Drinks were excellent also!

The Plimsoll is a fantastic boozer with real heart. It's clear the team care passionately about its unique atmosphere. The service is great. Everyone in there is in their 30s (me included) so has a definite vibe. Maeve was a great host. The food is nice for sure. The famous burger is tasty. Other people seem fanatical about it so don't take my review for it and try it for yourself. I found the desserts a bit hit or miss but the venue makes up for it with chutzpah and determination.

Came for the burger, will come back for the burger! Everything we ordered was great, but the burger was comfortably one of the best I’ve had in London. The Ox Tongue and desserts were superb, great flavours combos. The scampi and potatoes were also good but I could have probably done with ordering one less fried dish. My only criticism is I feel some dishes present far better value than others - but I will be back again to work out whether or not I’m wrong. Keep up the good work, the burger really is special!

Really enjoyed popping in on a Saturday afternoon. Reservation probably required, as we were early for ours, and all the tables were full by 2pm. Yes, the burger is delicious! A bit small for my hungry companion, but that's great when you can add another interesting plate to your order. The menu is so interesting! I added chipolatas and now I want them every day. The women who were front of house were just the loveliest, and had everyone smiling. An out of the way pub, which is worth visiting.
