I stumbled upon this amazing pub by chance while out with friends, and we decided to pop in for lunch. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. It’s great to see that places like this still exist! From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that everything here is well thought out and expertly managed. The portions are generous, and each dish is cooked to perfection. The drinks list is fairly simple, but the staff are knowledgeable and happy to help with wine selections or recommend cocktails and spritzes — which are particularly well represented on the menu. The pub is very popular with locals and tends to get busy during lunch and in the evenings, so I’d definitely recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment. I’ll definitely be back!

Duke on the Green is a real gem in London! The service is absolutely top-notch - friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The food is outstanding, with fresh flavors and beautifully presented dishes that go well beyond typical pub fare. Add to that the warm, lively atmosphere and stylish setting, and you’ve got the perfect spot for a relaxed meal, drinks with friends, or a special evening out. Highly recommend!

Great food at fair price, the location is accessible for public transport, the atmosphere feels like Real London, the service was great. They have kids menu, and even though it’s a place for adults, it felt very kid friendly. I recommend the London City Detour for this amazing and unique gastronomic experience. Ps: my daughter said the Ice Cream was the best she had in her 6 years life.

A nice local pub with good atmosphere and clean tables. The Sunday roast my friends are was "proper English" and they have a large range of alcoholic beverages. Perfect for an evening round' the corner!

I often visit this pub for Sunday lunch or drinks however wanted to review for Christmas lunch 2022! Absolutely flawless. So much thought had gone into everything, from the lovely table decorations to the little bag of Lily’s Kitchen dog treats wrapped with a bow for my dog who was with me! The food was delicious- all came out hot and fresh and the staff were all so lovely and didn’t rush us between courses and really just let us enjoy being out on Xmas day. I’ve been other places before for Xmas lunch and this was by far the best. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend , and would definitely come back next year! Thank you!

Excellent food service and ambience. Loved it. Earlier I gave 5 star to this restaurant. That was my first review on this pub food. And food was amazing. Now this is my second review on same pub . But this time it's only 2 star as bad food & service . As yesterday I took my cousin from Singapore for lunch and we had a worse experience on food. We ordered fish and chips . But fish was all burnt from both sides and when we told the person who served us said that fish was beer coated so this is the texture and cour u get. Can you believe this and we without arguing just had that fish full oil & no taste or flavour. V bad service & quality of food . My cousin had first time ever in her life special British fish & chips signature dish & that was disaster. Next time we will think twice to go there or not.

Living round the corner, we have had many occasions at this pub and it has always been pleasant. Food is delicious and the great variety of drinks is well priced. Bonus is their "Work from the Pub" offering which has saved me when I could not work from home, and they leave you be all day without feeling like they are ushering you from the table and that is always welcome!

What a seamless experience! Met a friend for a quick chat up @ the Duke on the green one late afternoon. I've been told on several occasion that your lucky if you get a table outside. Guess that was her lucky day. On the table there is a piece of stone with a QR code to download the app, unless if your not lazy and don't mind a trip to the bar, you order from the app, add the table number, and everything is being served to your table. The location is quite good as it's over looking the green while the other pub is on the same direction as the tube station so you have that traffic of people going to the tube. The venue have the capacity of a decent size crowd, however, the outdoor area has limited space so it's a first come first serve bases. Less than 10 min after I order the food came and the chips were still warm. You come, you order whatever you need from the app, food served, no need to queue up and wait to order and pay. But that's just me being lazy that day. Love their funky art next to the stairs up to the loos.
