We had a delightful pre-Xmas dinner with the whole family coming together from all over the UK. A very pleasant dining room, excellent service, festive atmosphere, very patient staff, who dealt well with our noisy 3 under-five dinosaurs, and very accomoodating service. Only complaint was over-priced extras - £11.50 for a double espresso etc ???) which seemed a bit extortionate. Otherwise a very lovely afternoon.

Spent a couple of really lovely evening here, the staff are always friendly and the vibe in the pub is always amazing. Good music, great wine selection and the food is fantastic! Brought my family here on a Sunday and enjoyed the ultimate roast, 3 different cuts of meat and all the trimmings. You can tell the yorkies are homemade they are huge and so delicious!!! Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Sunday roast. Best pork crackling I think I have ever had, and a tasty piece of pork. My wife had the chicken which I tried and it was equally delicious. Dog friendly too. Worth getting here early on a weekend as they can generally find you a table even though they were pretty fully booked.

Myself and my friend Gabriella went exploring on new years day and found ourselves drawn in by this cute pub. We both had an excellent roast beef lunch, and our host Josh the manager was very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our needs. We ate in a beautiful heated beer garden which had a magical atmosphere. The interior is warm and charming. Thoroughly recommended.

Very expensive for what you get. I got the risoto that was more like a hot salad. It was standing for so long that the top was dry, not creamy at all. The chips were not handmade. Waiter kept on asking out drinks and would keep on coming back and to get the others. Would definitely recommend for them to use something to take notes.

Lots of seating and nice atmosphere but a bit of a weird smell when you first walk in. Mains are 15-20 which is reasonable for the area I guess. Steak came medium as requested but charred on the outside. Their burger and chips was okay.

Lovely pub down on Pond Street! Came down with my sister and enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast, with some of the fattest Yorkshire puddings I've ever seen in my life. Definitely look forward to being back!
