   It is a wait on yourself place. They want you to download app to order! My 20s kids hated it. Smash burger only meat pickles but it was drowning in sauce so she said bun was soggy. The flies are bland. I would not recommend eating here infact we are going to Chinese restaurant down the street.

   I went to The Castle in Angel today for Sunday Roast and it was such a lovely experience! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere really cozy. A special mention to Reece, our waiter, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure!

   Loved it, Halloween. Great music. I was waiting on my daughter to finish up a Halloween party, pop into this pub on the off chance, needed the loo. Stayed for a few glasses of wine and then dinner. I was on my own, felt very safe, staff were lovely. Thank you for being so welcoming

   had a great meal at the castle! all of it tasted amazing and the service was good. the food took a bit longer to come out than i would’ve liked but it wasn’t majorly bad and it all tasted superb. it was quiet in there but there was music on at a good level so i enjoyed the atmosphere. would recommend and would return!

   Sunday roast, 28 day aged beef. Lovely pub, traditional furnishings, roof terrace, well looked after. Friendly staff. Food was lovely, fabulous cut of beef. HUGE yorkshires, and slightly more up market presentation and delivery (£20). All round great roast, absolutely recommend. Big portion, horseradish to accompany. Extra gravy provided! Guinness was lifeless though, no action and thin.

   Really lovely Sunday roast and managed to have a gluten free roast too which was delicious! The manager (not sure what his name was, just know he was from Cyprus!) and the waiter were so accommodating with my allergy. Love it here so much and so happy to live just around the corner!

   Went for a drink at lunch, then again for a dinner. Sunday Roast menu is nicely put together, and the Pork Belly was a stand out. Food quality is very good and prices are quite reasonable. Super-friendly staff, and they are welcoming to both locals and travelers alike. Roof terrace offers great people watching, and a second service bar. Excellent location, too!

   Very attractive pub on Pentonville Road, a few minutes’ walk from Angel tube station. Lovely interior decor and a particularly-covered roof terrace! Good selection of craft beers but only Youngs Original and Proper Job IPA on at the time of my visit, hence 4 stars. Very friendly staff. Would definitely return!

   Fantastic food and service, ambiance is wonderful. Will keep coming back, especially now that summer is coming, their rooftop is the best in Islington. Brunch deal for unlimited cocktails at £35 a must visit with friends.
