This was mine and my girlfriend’s local pub as of two months ago due to us moving and we miss it so much. We went almost every Sunday for their delicious roasts, which we still think is the best in London. Extremely reasonably priced drinks and lovely staff. We will be back soon
This pub has a lot going for it! The atmosphere is always good, the drinks are well-priced. The majority of the bar staff we’ve experienced are friendly and helpful, especially the young Albanian gentleman (sorry didn’t catch your name!) who went out of his way to assist us. One of the young female bar staff constantly has a miserable vibe about her, she seems stuck on the same facial expression and tone when taking your order, good news is she perks up when she’s taking your payment. It's child friendly, and the pub quiz they offer is a fun bonus (when you can hear the questions). However, the Sunday roast has been a bit hit-or-miss on our most recent visits. While the flavors are generally good, the execution needs some work. The vegetables have been undercooked and tough, and the potatoes were so crispy they were almost rock-hard. The cauliflower cheese was a real letdown – not the creamy, comforting dish you'd expect. On a much brighter note, the sticky toffee pudding is absolutely outstanding! It's seriously one of the best we've ever had. Despite the inconsistencies with the roast, I still think it’s worth a visit. The good vibes, affordable drinks, excellent service makes it a solid choice for a casual outing. If they can just get the Sunday roast back on track, it would be a real winner!
Very nice bar staff, really interesting décor and film memorabilia around the place - loads to look at. My only quibble was the £8.50 glass of Sauvignon Blanc - I know that isn't considered particularly expensive these days (and I should have checked the price before asking for it) but I just didn't think it was very nice but overall I'd definitely recommend this pub.
The Old Fashioned cocktail is brilliant and consistently delicious. The food is also very good quality, during the week or for a delicious Sunday roast! A lovely pub. Great environment and relaxing.

Very rude (white) barman today spoiled the atmosphere of what is normally a nice pub to visit. After numerous attempts to call to book a table he finally answered with a grunt of a 'hello' and told me to book online. This I did, but got no confirmation, and when we arrived he hadn't recorded our reservation in the diary. His attitude was completely indifferent and was the same to the other customers. Its a pity when a good pub is ruined by one member of staff.
A fun and lively pub that had live Irish music which kept everyone going. Went with a group of friends and had an enjoyable time. Enough of a variety on type and various wines to choose from. Didn't wait too long for a drink either which was great.
