Didn’t eat tonight but was served by Nula who was wonderful. I was welcomed into the pub like an old friend and made to feel very welcome. The pub was busy as quiz night was about to start so it was lovely to be served quickly and by a server who obviously enjoys her work and likes to make guests feel welcome.

This sad, dried up little lemon is a literal and metaphorical representation of my experience in this pub. Aesthetically it seemed ok, complete with an attractive garden, but when you look closer the problems start to appear. Sticky tables. Tatty, sticky, ketchup splattered, badly designed menus, festooned with far too much information and too many dishes. Little plastic sachets of condiments, like you get in a motorway service station. It was also understaffed. The pictured lemon came with the decidedly mediocre fish and chips I ordered. My companion's scampi & chips had peas so bland, soggy and (literally) grey, John Major would've rejected them. The Scampi was a collection of sad, little rubber pellets. My companion's most positive comment? "It wasn't cold". Although re-badged to the M&B owned Ember Inns chain, the Wi-Fi (which required compulsory registration to blitz you with endless promotions) was still branded as the M&B Harvester it used to be. Just another illustration of the lack of care and attention here. If anyone replies to this, I know they'll likely say I should've mentioned it to the staff. Well, there weren't any around when it was time to leave and no-one came to clear the table. Either way, if no-one in management is paying attention to the poor details and lack of finesse here, any complaints I could make would be whistling in the wind. The Christmas lunch advertised for Β£73 on the A-board outside seemed a tad ambitious for a place whose quality is demonstrably lower than Wetherspoons. It's a bit of a shame, but there's no shortage of decent places in north London. Up the road in Winchmore Hill there are three decent enough pubs, including an unbranded M&B pub which is far better than this place, which was a total waste of money.

Came to the pub on Sunday to have some β€œpub tapas” picky bits and drinks. We have a lovely Camembert- gooey and garlicky! Fantastic. A nice touch was also the chef Harry came out to check everything was ok with our food and was super friendly

Food was good. However the sausages in the sausage and mash wasn't that good quality said the person who had it in my group. I was looking forward to my Eaton Mess. It was a disappointment too! There was only one tiny piece of meringue in my bowl! I've eaten tastiest meringue with lots of bits and pieces in it in other places. Staff was really helpful!

Although we didn't have a reservation and there were four of us, including an elderly disabled gentleman, the staff found a way to accommodate us, with the kindest approach. and Hannah who served us was exceptionally kind and accommodating, courteous and very lovely. she went over and above to make us feel comfortable. Hannah was wonderful with exceptional people skills. We all thank her and her team, especially Andreas.

Fantastic menu choices including vegetarian and vegan options. A Lovely pub with large indoor and outdoor seating areas. Delicious food and most staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had the 2 course menu lunch menu. I had vegetable soup and grilled chicken and my mom had mushrooms and fish and chips. Serve was quite slow because of short staff. Price is good since we both paid Β£9.29

We didn't come for a meal but just had a pleasant, drink in a relaxed atmosphere. It was our first visit yet the staff chatted to us as if we were regulars, making us feel at home. Will definitely go back next time we're in the area, and will undoubtedly try their menu too!

Our first time here & we will definitely be back. Really nice pub, free parking for its visitors. Lovely inside & outside. Much bigger than expected. You can book your table via phone or app in advance - or you can just turn up ( Sep 2021). The menu offer is good, offers variety & reasonably priced. Children menu available. You can order via app or you can order at the bar. Check your table number first. They take cash as well! We went on Saturday afternoon & it was fairly busy, it got very busy around 6pm. We waited for a bit, but nothing major if you are expecting fresh food. The staff were definitely rushed off their feet, but still very nice & smiley & helpful. Food was very tasty, everyone enjoyed it. The toilets were clean, changing room for babies available. Buggy friendly. Definitely family friendly. If I could ask to improve something- please do bring in something for kids to do. A slide, small trampoline, some games, sand pitch, climbing frame, maybe some colouring pencils or boarding games? That would be fantastic ( for parents). I gathered the offer quizzes during the week & there’s a special ( cheaper) food offer Monday - Friday. Overall - a lovely place, yummy food, friendly staff & atmosphere - we will be back. No longer Harvester - it’s under the new management of Ember Inns since September 2021. Thank you!
