Didn’t eat so can’t accurately rate the food but from the dishes I saw being served to others it looked decent. Nice laid back pub. Youngish local clientele, seemed very relaxed. Really nice staff. Nice touch having a fire and a pub cat named after an admiral (Nelson)! Decent selection of drinks. Nicely slightly off the main Camden beaten track. Definitely recommend

Local pub, we like these, it's just a social club, there's so much freedom, we'll be back again and again!!!

Great local pub, great selection of cask ales at very decent prices for London. Currently Β£4.90 a pint for CAMRA members.

Great pub with several real ales and ciders. Camra members discount - the prices are good anyway, considering it’s in town. Lively and very friendly atmosphere. I’ve not eaten there, so I can’t comment on that. It takes me three trains and about 90 mins to get there, but it’s worth it.

Went there on a busy Friday evening for drinks and dinner, it was pretty busy and lively (but can be a little noisy). I really enjoyed the beef pie, they used suet pastry casing instead of shortcrust or puff pastry which was a great for retaining its nice texture when sitting in a pool of flavoursome but not salty gravy. The pie fillings were great as well, meat was tender, and carrots/ parsnips / swede were cut in decent sized chunks so you could really enjoy the taste and texture of them (unlike some other pies I’ve had elsewhere that just cut them too fine and disappear in the mix). Mash potatoes could potentially be smoother though, and maybe a little more of the greens for balance. Sausage has good texture based on the one bite I’ve tasted.

Little gam hidden in the back street. Great atmosphere and range of beer is great. If you love pies, you will love this place. But the best of all, the staff are extremely friendly, which makes the whole experience all the more better!

Really liked this little pub, quite charming both inside and out. Really liked the setting in the beer garden! Reasonably priced beer, and nice selection. I'll more then likely be back

If you’re into real ales or ciders then this is the best pub in Camden / Kentish Town for you. Great selection and all perfectly kept by the very knowledgeable landlord. Also offers discount for CAMRA members. The nautical decor is lovely; altogether a very attractive pub. And who doesn’t love a pub cat! Slightly off the beaten track but definitely worth finding.

Loved this pub. Great beer. Loved all the thematic nautical stuff. Good beer garden.
