   I pop in whenever I’m in Beckenham, usually just for a drink. My last visit was impromptu and decided to have something to eat. What I really like about this place it’s exactly how a pub should be. It’s clean, comfortable with a good selection of drinks. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. Proper pub food, done really well and exceptional value for money. Great to see a traditional pub still thriving. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!

   Charley was a massive diamond to our group. Very attentive and also a great asset to the pub, he made our night complete by delivering us all the greatest drinks and the greatest banter. 10/10 all round !!

   Back again to this gem of a boozer in Beckenham. Great pint, great selection of different products to suit all tastes. It was busy when we went, but we got a table. Table was clean and we had all the menus and everything that we needed. Food was delicious, very warm and cosy comfort food. Atmosphere was cracking. We were served by the lovely Rachel, who I believe manages the pub. She was attentive, friendly and courteous throughout our visit. Overall, a thoroughly pleasant experience. We’ll be back again!

   Great selection of pints and welcoming staff. Definitely reccomend if you’re looking for a quiet night during the week or a cracking pint at the weekend. Wouldn’t recommend the wine as there is a very limited selection. They gave a great selection of games available to play if you’re up for some good fun

   Great spot for a wallet friendly family meal. The George inn Beckenham is a gem of a pub with fantastic prices, a warm, friendly atmosphere, and convenient on-site parking. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends or family. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, adding to the cozy, community feel. Drinks and food are reasonably priced, with great value for money across the menu. Whether you’re popping in for a pint or a casual meal. Highly recommended!

   Would have been 5 but reduced menu on mother's day, annoying, plus 1 out of the 3 who served us initially was moody and didn't listen. Other ladies made up for it! Good burger, recommend the P.I.G burger

   Our burgers were very tasty and fresh. Faultless. On a warm sunny day the outside area is very popular. Still has character, good choice of real ales and staff that are quality - cheerful, helpful and efficient. Improvements since 2020 have increased the capacity (inside and out) whilst not impacting on service or feeling of space - the fabric of the building incl roof etc was renewed too. In fact its all much better - signs say it was founded in 1674 and it ought to have a few more decades (centuries?) left in it yet!
